Mountains of my village | Monomad Challenge

I was born and raised in a beautiful village surrounded by imposing mountains, a natural lung that allows us to breathe pure and fresh air.

Although today I live in the city, I can't describe the emotion I feel when we are greeted on the road by these beautiful mountains that are usually covered with a thick fog that announces the most delightful weather.

The pandemic keeps me away from my village, but I will be back soon.

Nací y me crié en un hermoso pueblo rodeado de imponentes montañas, un pulmón vegetal que nos permite respirar aire puro y fresco.

Aunque hoy en día vivo en la ciudad, no puedo describir la emoción que siento cuando en el camino nos reciben estas hermosas montañas que generalmente están cubiertas de una espesa niebla que anuncia el más delicioso de los climas.

La pandemia me mantiene alejada de mi pueblo, pero pronto volveré.

Caripe - Venezuela

I took these pictures on my last trip to Caripe, more than a year ago, I was so excited to return to my hometown that as soon as I saw the mountains, even with the car in motion, I grabbed my cell phone and as best I could I captured these images that I share with you today in black and white.

Estas fotografías las tomé en mi último viaje a Caripe, hace ya más de un año, estaba tan emocionada por regresar a mi pueblo que apenas visualicé las montañas, aún con el carro en movimiento, agarré mi celular y como pude capté estas imágenes que hoy les comparto en blanco y negro.
