Fern bokeh bw.jpg

A never-ending source of colours, textures and bubbles. All I need to do is borrow a lens from my brother and go to the garden. The ferns have been growing in the same spot since I remember (which is many, many years!). Every year unrolling their leaves in the coolest way!

This time I picked Takumar 50 to catch some of the bubbly bokeh in more sunny pots...

... and some delicate milkiness in shade.

It took me some time to get used to those old manual lenses. Many blurry photos, especially on a windy day can be frustrating. But it is worth it. When you finally get it right...
Eventually..

I prefer manual. You can make them do what you want rather than what they think you want. Nice work

The end result is great though and the place looks magical.
