Ramadhan Kareem from my culinary stall 📷 Monomad Challenge

Today is the fifth day of the month of fasting (Ramadan) this year, I have just opened my culinary shop, which a few days earlier took a holiday before starting to open a satay shop in the month of fasting.

Selling food during the fasting month is of course different from other days in the month. We start opening the stall at 05.00 in the afternoon and close it at dawn at 05.00 in the morning.

In normal months and days, we open the stall from 10.00 am to 12.00 am. Changes in working hours for employees of course require extra energy, that's why we decided to take a week off, before opening a satay stall in the month of Ramadan.

I summarized some black and white photography as an entry in the Monomad Challenge this time from my culinary stall.

Some of the photography above is the initial activity of employees preparing satay racks to start selling culinary delights at our stall.

Next, the activity began to burn satay to be served to visitors who would break their fast at our stall and also take away orders which became one of the most frequent orders in the month of Ramadan.

I sell typical Acehnese culinary delights, Sate Matang; Beef satay combined with white rice and special soto sauce. This menu is one of the most popular in our province 😉

So, in the next part I photographed the activities of employees who were wrapping consumer ordered soup soup. Meanwhile, below are activities in the evening before dawn. We work 12 hours a day during the month of Ramadan this time and it is a rule that applies every year.
