Monomad Challenge ~ Panther Trail

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes! You can read more about the contest and how to enter HERE!

I took the following photos on the Panther Trail which is at the Gunpowder Falls State Park in the Hereford Zone of Baltimore County, Maryland. My first photo is my entry for the challenge and I just loved the way the light was hitting the upper branches of the trees! I also feel like this photo would work great with some sort of inspirational quote on it.

Since I have you here, I thought I would show a few more photos from the Panther Trail in black and white. I'm sure you know also that if I'm showing photos of the Gunpowder that there will most likely be a water shot or two..lol.

I also found a few mushrooms along the way!

This is my last photo and the way the sunlight was shining on these trees along the river it gave them an almost magical look in black and white. I haven't been back to the Panther Trail in a long time and looking over these photos makes me want to get back for another visit soon. I also want to re-visit the Pot Rocks area and Lost Pond Trail of the Gunpowder Falls State Park as well. It's been closed for a while now and is due to re-open late Fall. I guess time will tell soon enough if it does and I'll be sure to let you know if it does! 💖
