Monomad Contest. Nature in gloomy tones

| I was in the mood to process my nature photos today, intended for the current publication in the black-and-white community in darker tones than usual. I don't know what influenced it, probably the weather, which is just awful - the snow is melting, the whole earth has turned into a swamp and there is grayness all around. I wanted to make my photos more contrasting by emphasizing the shadows. But where the shadows are thicker, the light shines brighter, even if it is not enough. That's what I got: | Сьогодні у мене був настрій обробити свої фото природи, призначені для поточної публікації у спільноту чорно-білої фотографії у більш похмурих тонах, ніж зазвичай. Я не знаю, що на це вплинуло, мабуть погода, яка просто жахлива - сніг тане, вся земля перетворилася на болото і довкола панує сірість. Мені захотілося зробити свої фото більш контрастними, підкресливши тіні. Але там де густіші тіні, там яскравіше сяє світло, навіть якщо його мало. Ось що з того вийшло: |
