Adventures with Owen: Mono Photography

Today I went to the park with my son Owen. Even though it ended up raining, we had an awesome adventure. I decided to make all the photos in black and white because of the rain to experiment. Curious to hear what you think in the comments! I kind of think the mono theme here works!

Looking back at this time, the black white theme really works because it was such a gloomy day. On the way back, the rain messed my phone up too so I didn't have GPS! Luckily I knew the way for the most part so we didn't get lost!

Owen is a really good model, I'm very lucky to have such a stud of a toddler. He was walking around the park all on his own too. He was amazed by all the wildlife, bugs, and other critters. I guess one good thing about COVID is the park was completely empty, there were some people but almost completely quiet.

Since it was quiet, I got to make all kinds of animal noises in the wild to pretend with Owen that I was trying to call them to us. I am pretty sure he believed me too! I think Owen is a lot like me, when I was young I used to love going outside and on adventures, so I try to take him outside as much as I can because everything is new to his young mind.

This was just another day with Owen and me. There will be many more days ahead and I hope you enjoyed seeing some shots of our adventure!
