One of the hypermarket nearby my place is closing down soon and it is having a major sales. @khimgoh told me this "news" some time ago, but I just managed to go their today with my husband.

The entrance of the hypermarket... Discount up to 40%, some even have discount at 50%...

The hypermarket has quite a big space. And I think because the sales has been ongoing for quite some time now. So the crowd today is not that a lot.

Many of the shelves are empty 😅.

Me and my husband bought fruits, veggies, canned food, beer, etc... We were here for one and a half hour then we were off home...

It's a pity this hypermarket is closing down... No idea why, it's a franchised hypermarket and normally it is always packed with buying crowds... So really dunno why it's closing down...

At least you got some good deals out of the store closure. One of my favorite grocery stores closed a couple of years ago. It had changed ownership and the new owners didn't do a very good job of management, and had to shut it down. There is a completely different store there now, which I do enjoy, but I still miss the old grocery store.

Yup, it's a bit sad that it has to close down but there's nothing much we can do.
