The not pretty part of lockdown

I was actually having fun finding people go walking around as if there's nothing happen, but somehow I think the police roadblock now take place and many area has been isolated.

There may be still stalls open for business, but variety of food had seriously decreased due to less demand. Perhaps, nobody can afford to eat out anymore. I think anyone who has a choice, would rather cook for themselves during these trying times.

image.png

I've been saying I wanted to get my own container, but to date I haven't got a chance to shop for one. Mainly due to the government announced all non-essentials are not allowed to operate. Therefore, the container and utensils shop are not allowed to open. So, for now on, plastic bags for the win. Not the brightest thing I recon, but difficult time difficult measures!

image.png

This piece of brain lookalike neural spiral pattern "thing" is actually noodle. Can you imagine how much plastics and chemical being absorbed into it whilst I pack them in the bag and brought it home?

image.png

Added some jalapeno to it, and it changed the taste of the food with spicy, sweet and sour. You'll never say no to this!

image.png

Had a huge complain from a client, and the case doesn't even have anything remotely related to me at all, just so happen this person decided to voice his frustration directly to the CEO, and suddenly I became the trigger. Once again, not the brightest thing to share, and I had to go out and by "lunch" at 3pm. This row of shops usually full of cars and can't even move an inch, and it's now clear. Plenty of parking. The only thing doesn't have is, Chinese shop that serve RICE!

image.png

In the end, went to the cake shop and got us some beautiful desserts. Not exactly know what to buy since there's no more conventional food for lunch, this should do the magic and hold the kids for awhile.

image.png

Since @tanlikming were talking about this place, and also putting up some photo of those good food, so I also went there.

image.png

Ordering my takeout dinner from this stall. 1 dried noodle for the small boy and 1 noodle soup for the big girl. I myself, went for Spicy Tom Yam seafood noodle. Total damage, 21 Ringgit(that's like less than 5 dollars)! Not the cheapest in town, but it's very very reasonable.

image.png

Not much people go for takeout, or not sure because I'm late and people are getting ready to go home for the curfew.

image.png

And here's the close look of my Spicy Tom Yam Seafood Noodle. Looks amazing, taste like roller coaster, and smells super funky! Like you're standing infront jetty. Can't say it's anything near to what I had in Thailand, but this is another type of craziness. Definitely fusioned, but kinda like it!

I love me some spicy tom yam seafood but i'm not a fan of when they put the entire prawn in there. Maybe it is just because i am a lazy murican and I don't want to have to work to get to the meat in it.

Well, the best part of it was the funky smell of the head. after having developed such epic habits of sucking the prawn head, one will get bored with just the flesh 🤪 Thanks for stopping by buddy

Love the description of the Tom Yam tasting like a rollercoaster. You have an incredible way with words, always good for a laugh. Thanks my friend.
