Chinese Dumpling Festival(dragon boat festival)
Hello guys! So, Monday is the Chinese well known Dragon Boat Festival. Due to Stupid19 going around too much(I am not implying on the recent pandemic, and it's not recent), Dragon Boat race has been cancelled for the 2nd year straight. So, let's call the less known name, Dumpling Festival.
There's a lot of stories going on behind the dragon boat festival. One of the most significant(I preferred this one better) would be a Chinese minister throw himself into the river after he was banished of opposing the alliance and accused for treason. People start throwing dumplings into the river so the fishes doesn't eat the guy's body. More readings in Wikipedia, but you'll be more interested to see how I use MRE food ration as example replying my friend @print3dpro here
Yeah! Here's the MRE. I didn't break it down, because I don't wanna spoil your appetite. Imagine after I smash the sticky rice what's it gonna look like.
Ok Dumpling was the dinner, let's roll back to the breakfast where I went to Subway and got myself a Parmeson Oregano. Pretty darn epic consider the kid who wrap my sandwich almost drop the whole bun to the floor. I know newbie needs more training, but why can't you guys train him better before allow him touch my bread? Please Subway.
Lunch was rather easy. Home minister bought some dimsum from the frozen food shop, and she heat it up for me. Sometimes I do feel pretty darn good having a partner together.

Oh Ok. Pardon my abrupt cut off. I'm the worst DJ in the club, but it's time to cut the crap and go with some other stuff to beef this post up. Pardon the Michael from KR gif, but that's the smooth transition I quietly learn from other blogger. I think that really helps to smoothen out the flow of my post, don't you think?
Call me a monster, but I recently having loads of fun with the sisters from the Zhang family. Fun as in cultural exchange. I have been able to send photo to the girls and get to see theirs. At the same time, made me snap a lot more photos when I'm out.
This was @zhangyan-123 mentioned to me saying the street is rather quiet. So I snap a photo and show her why the street is quiet. Lockdown yo. Majority of these retail shops are closed(some of them permanently).
I think I have discussed this tunnel by the road side with @mineoply awhile ago, today I'm here again, during sun is up. so can see it's not too scary.
This is how it looks like from the inside, but I'm not impress if this is mean for the kids to wait for their parents during school day. What if it rain?
Took this flower for my friend, tried to Google it and found the name, but due to too long I forgot the save and now even I myself forgotten the password.
Also, found a bug buzzing on the road side. Not sure what kind of injury he's suffering, but I can't possibly be bringing it home because I don't know how to fix it.
Again, more walking at the East park, and they're still very super extremely quiet.
How quiet can it be? I'll let the picture do the talking. Meanwhile, I'm still alive making this post.
Another flower shot I enjoyed the most. One thing I feel challenging about snapping a flower, it really takes a lot more time on editing in order to produce a quality post.
This was taken after I packed my Subway and heading to my car which is about 400meters away.
Ok. There's a reason why people doens't hold their phone out of the car. Car is moving forward, win become opposite fast base on physics. I almost lost my phone trying to take ths photo at the ramp.
Today in Vietnam there is also a festival that we call ( lễ hội diệt sâu bọ ) usually we will gather around the family dinner tray but it is Monday so this year this is not happening.

tokens. That's an interesting dragon boat festival story. Using Dumplings as a deterrent to keep fish from eating a man, haha that's great :)
I'm not sure if I have ever eaten a MRE dumpling, and I'm not sure if I would ever want to.
I love that roadside tunnel too. If I ever have a giant outdoor garden, I will create something like this. A little "secret garden" hideaway or something.
Great post as always, and thanks for the shout out my friend!

Sounds like Subway needs to up its Sandwich artist game. In the USA they refer to employees as "sandwich artists," I wonder if they do that there?
Problem here is, the turnaround rate for staff is significant. They don't love their job as a subway boy or girl. When you don't see the passion in the sub artist, this is how the sub looks like. A piece of lifeless bread.
