New update on my mixed fruit garden: A story of fresh greens and new growth

Warm greetings to all the comrades and nature-loving friends of the Hive Garden community.
I hope you are all doing well and having a wonderful time in your garden. In this mechanical world of concrete, a piece of green garden is like a huge haven of peace for us. Even in the midst of daily busyness, when I come to the garden, the fresh green leaves and new buds around me instantly remove all the fatigue of my mind. Today, I am going to share with you the current status of my own mixed fruit garden and its new updates in detail.

When I first started the journey of this fruit garden in January 2026, I had many dreams in my mind while planting each sapling. Then, step by step, I increased the perimeter of the garden and added new fruit seedlings to it. For example, last April, I planted new guava and plum seedlings in the garden. Today, when those small seedlings are growing fresh in just a few months, my hard work feels worthwhile. It is difficult to express in words how much joy a gardener feels, starting from planting a tree and growing it.

My garden now has a wonderful collection of various fruits as well as some vegetables. Let me introduce you to the current trees in my garden.

There are currently 8 guava trees in my garden. These trees, planted last April, are still quite young, but in the meantime, a beautiful white flower has come to my surprise. In the cover photo of today's post, you can see a close-up view of that eye-catching guava flower. I am really happy to see such a small tree bloom. This flower seems to be giving me an early warning of a bountiful harvest in the future. I regularly apply organic fertilizer and necessary irrigation to the base of the guava trees, so that the trees can grow faster and healthier.

A large part of my garden is covered with plum trees. In April, I planted a total of 50 plum trees. The trees are already well rooted in the ground and are spreading fresh branches very nicely. If the weather is favorable and I can take proper care of them, I hope to get a lot of plums from these trees next season.

In addition, to meet the daily demand for lemons, I have planted 30 'China 3' lemon trees in the garden. China 3 lemons are quite popular for their abundant juice and wonderful aroma. These trees are also growing very fresh now. I take great care in watering the lemon trees regularly and loosening the soil at the base.

In addition to lemons, I also have 4 sweet orange trees and 1 Thai grapefruit tree in my garden. Thai grapefruits are quite large and juicy, and when the orange trees grow and bear fruit, the beauty of the garden will increase manifold, needless to say.

In addition, I have planted 1 pomegranate tree and 1 special variety of pink jackfruit tree in the garden. Pink jackfruit is not very common in our country, so I have a special curiosity and care for this tree. Each tree is very healthy so far and their growth is also satisfactory.

Apart from fruits, some vegetables are also yielding well in my garden, which has further inc

reased the diversity of the garden. The papaya tree planted a few days ago has now produced a lot of flowers. These flowers that come in bunches will soon start bearing papaya.

There is also a bitter gourd tree. The bitter gourd vines have spread very beautifully on the trellis. The tree has already started bearing small fresh bitter gourds, and the bright yellow flowers blooming with it have given a different dimension to the beauty of the garden. In today's photo collage, you can see the wonderful view of this bitter gourd and turmeric flowers.

The joy of picking and eating fruits or vegetables from your own planted trees is unmatched by anything else in the world. To keep the soil healthy, I use various natural ingredients such as cow dung, leaf compost and sometimes mustard seed. This increases the fertility of the soil and the trees can easily absorb the necessary nutrients. Creating and maintaining a fruit garden is a time-consuming and patient task. Going to the garden every morning and seeing the natural processes of new leaves on the trees, buds blooming and flowers turning into fruits is a different feeling for me.

My journey with this mixed fruit garden is still in its early stages. In the coming days, the trees will grow bigger and the garden will become more attractive. I would like to humbly request my experienced friends at Hive Garden, if you have any important advice or tips on fruit tree care or pest control, please comment.

I am ending my garden update here as of today. Thank you to everyone who has been patiently reading my post and enjoying the pictures. Let's all make our surroundings greener. Lots of love and best wishes to all. Happy gardening!
