Setting up A Vertical Garden In School
Hello @hivegarden
How are you all doing here? I hope you're great and fine ☺️
I'm back again in this community to share to you about how our school do sustainable vertical gardening.

As a TLE teacher, I am in favored of this type of gardening most especially space here in our school is just limited. I always appreciate seeing everybody's effort just to put up this vertical structure.

Together we helped in setting up this vertical garden. This structure were made by our colleague who's knowledgeable in weld and fabrication. The structure has equal spaces enough so that plants freely breathe in air.

Each one of us helped in collecting empty plastic bottles, 1.5 liters from the students. Collecting this bottles could mean also recycling the waste into a useful one, turning this plastics into small hanging pots. In this way, we can help the mother nature and at the same time it's economically budget friendly.

Plants being hanged are of varieties. Like eggplant, spinach, and they're other plants that are still small and started to grow.
Theyre hanged on the metal structure. That metal used too is also a recycled one. It's just looked new because it's also newly painted with white. Rust were removed in the metals before painting it white.

There are students too who submitted pots that's why there are pots colored in brown and white being displayed.
We've place soil in a pots and start to plant it and hanged each lots accordingly with uniform spaces that direct them into sunlight.

Together, we've finished our main goal for today-- the setting up of our vertical gardening. One advantage of this type of gardening is to maximize the space and and can be easily monitored to. It's good if you're living in an urban area where there's a limited garden space only.
And so the day ended with so much appreciation on the tasks being accomplished on the day. If together will just worked hand in hand, even in just in a simple gardening activity like this, everybody can surely contribute to the betterness and good of Our Mother Nature.

Amazing sis! Creative and sustainable vertical garden. I also remember my TLE Teacher during high school we planted a lot of vegetables and I even planted a star fruit tree at the back of our classroom, until now that tree is still growing and bearing fruit. Such a simple activities but can leave a lasting impact. Good job teacher! 👏
