There's No Such Thing As Impossible

The title of the post is funny actually. Half an hour ago I was trying to figure out how to beat the impossible, but in another matter, not gardening. I left my cable at home (yeah, stupid me) and can't connect my phone to my laptop to download photos. I tried through Bluetooth but failed for some unknown reason. Then I said no problem, I'll do the post from my phone using Liketu, but it gives me error when I'm trying to log in.

This is the time when I say who said life is easy, right? No problem, my head is on my neck not to hold my hair, but to use my brain and think. So right after I said "who said life is easy", I remembered that I can do the draft on my laptop and then edit it from my phone and upload the photos. This should work.

This is the bracelet I'm wearing today and for a good reason. It's a cheap one, but I like the saying engraved on it as it's true and gives me not only motivation but strength too.

Today I'd like to show you what my lovely sweetie looks like, or oroblanco, if you know this name.

So long story short, four months ago I bought some sweeties and found a big seed in one of them. I was told it's a miracle as these are hybrids and don't have seeds. Well, I found one and looked pretty big and healthy and because I love sweetie, I thought let's not waste it. So I sowed it the next day to not let it dry and waited.

As you can see in my post linked above, I got a seedling out of it that was ding fine at that time. Today I'd like to show you where my sweetie is with growing.

My biggest fear was that I get a huge seedling, a long and weak one that will grow and grow without getting strong. So I put the pot in the window to get as much light as possible and waited. To my surprise, the growing has stopped after some time, which was a good sign and could see tiny lateral leaves developing.

So far everything is going great. This is the time when this little cutie has to get stronger and it has all the time in the world.

The next step is to move it outside to get plenty of light and direct sunlight as it's a tropical plant, so it needs that.

This is a project that started with no expectations or hopes as I know getting fruits is impossible, but it's still a lot of fun. I'm glad it grows nicely and gives me reason to be happy.
