Deus Ex Gameplay 01-18

Getting the energy sword gives me a weapon that does not run out of ammo. It also lights up the area a little bit. Reminds me of a light saber but it has its own feel to it. I steal it from one of the labs in Hong Kong and now have to escape. On my first attempt I run right into some WiB and MiB and they kill me. So I tried again with a different approach, using gas grenades I threw them in an area where the guards would want to be. And by attracting them I tested to see if they would come into the grenades proximity.

I was able to gather them in an area but threw too many grenades so I tried again but with less throws this time. I wait for them to appear but I am greeter by one of the MJ12 troops with a rocket launcher. Playing it a few more times I can take out one of the robot guards easily but the others seem to really put a hurting on me. Finally using a LAM grenade I am satisfied with taking out a bunch at once.

Playing Deus Ex gives alot of flexibility on how to get through a mission. It makes playing it over and over again alot of fun. I usually go for the brute force approach but I learn about secrets on different levels as I play more and more. I have probably played this game a half dozen times by now. And really cool the GMDX mod remade it with fresh graphics.
