[Mobile Games] Contra Returns Review

Hello Gamers, how are you doing ?

Today i will bring a review from a mobile game. Usually i am not into mobile games, cause they normally suck, but indeed there are some great games out there, like COD mobile, Hearthstone (it's adapted from pc but its still a mobile game!), Wild Rift, Genshin Impact, Magic the gattering and much more ! When i saw the Contra title in the play store i didn't think twice before giving it a chance.

For me a mobile game must be suitble to play in certain times, like... when im in the bathroom, lol. Maybe waiting a bus, or right before catching asleep. So the game must be fun to play and quick to start/finish.

and this game really got it. I will try to explain the game the best and quick as possible, just how i like them !

Contra Returns is remake from the the classic Arcade Series. Everyone is probably pretty aware about it, i bet everyone here already died a few times in this series. This 2D dashing plataform is awesome and the game is pretty well rebuilt, with nice graphcis and a good gameplay, original soundtracks, but there a some others specific points which make it great to play.

THE PVP is something i like in all kind of games, its here where your blood usually rush and you get pumped with adrenaline ! from 1v1 to 4v4 options, it delivers what it need. The servers ping are great and PVP feels really challanging. Sometimes you will end up with a bot, but most of the times you will be paired againt real players ! Get ready !!

There is also a Variety of game changes during the game, just like the original series, you will end up in flying bots, geting a lot of different weapons, switching characters, which one of them with different skills sets and abilities. There are a lot of different power up's and speacial Weapons aswell. Choose what best suits you !

Story mode is quite good aswell, you will advance through the stages collecting upgrades, following the storyline and unlocking new upgrades and characters, beating stages with 3 stars will unlock extra rewards in each chapter, you can auto repeat missions you finish with 3 stars in order to quick claim the items you will use to upgrade weapons.

Classic Bosses are here ! One of the most amazing things from this game. Boss battles are exciting and hard as hell, trying to get with full life to bosses are a must need in order to survive most of them. the challenge is real lol. Enemies and missiles you appear from every where and you will need to do your best to dodge it all and kill !

Challenges everhwhere ! this picture is from a game mode where you must go as far as you can without being hit (you have a health bar, yes) but in this mode. this one is really hard but most important, its fun !. More challenged modes, like boss beating, endless waves, will keep you busy playing as much as you want, its ton of fun.

The Down Side is also here, let's be fair. Remember its a mobile game. Its obviously full of microtransaction. But just like any other mobile game, you will play it for a month or 2 maybe, and a new game will come and steal your attention, you really don't need to buy anything here in order to play and have a good and fun challange.

Well i swear there is much more to talk about, but it would make this go for longer then we all want.
If you willing to give this game a chance, you might get surprised, in a good way. As i mentioned, it is great to play in those especific times where you just to game a little, but don't want to load a big game, or start your PS/XBOX/NINTENDO in order to start play since you might need to quit in less then 5 minutes. I don't usually play mobile games, but i always like to have some good gems close !! Game is also really proof of play =P, you might be able to finish stages where the power requirement is much above of what you have, just keep dodging and shooting !!
