Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post siendo el sexto día del Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge, el cual me encanta y me parece genial poder recordar con algo de nostalgia el tiempo que me pasaba jugando en mis consolas diversos juegos que me encantaban. Sin embargo hoy hablaré sobre viejos videojuegos que llegué a jugar y que me parecieron muy malos. Sinceramente si algo no me gusta prefiero ignorarlo, así que fue difícil hacer esta lista porque hay pocos juegos que me desagradan, pero pude agrupar tres para hacer mi top de peores videojuegos retro que me ha tocado jugar.
Hello again! Today I come with a post being the sixth day of the Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge, which I love and I think it's great to remember with some nostalgia the time I spent playing on my consoles various games I loved. However today I will talk about old video games that I got to play and that I thought were really bad. Honestly if I don't like something I prefer to ignore it, so it was difficult to make this list because there are few games that I dislike, but I could group three to make my top of worst retro video games that I have played.
3. E.T
Supongo que ya habían escuchado hablar de este juego ya que es considerado el peor de la historia de los videojuegos. Mi papá me habló de él ya que tenía un Atari y al ver que había un videojuego sobre una de las mejores películas de la industria del cine, considerada como un clásico creyó que iba a ser un excelente juego. Nada más alejado de la realidad, tiene un diseño bastante feo incluso para la época, en ese entonces obviamente los gráficos eran de 8bits y no se esparaba full HD 4K, pero en serio era muy feo. El diseño de E.T parecía un moco, la historia del juego es extraña a pesar de querer seguir la historia original, los ambientes estaban muy pero muy mal diseñados y es incómodo jugarlo. Fue muy triste ya que se podía sacar mucho potencial además de que Atari quedó mal parado gracias a esta abominación.
I guess you had already heard of this game since it is considered the worst in the history of video games. My dad told me about it since he had an Atari and when he saw that there was a video game about one of the best movies in the film industry, considered a classic, he thought it was going to be an excellent game. Nothing further from reality, it has a pretty ugly design even for the time, at that time obviously the graphics were 8bit and full HD 4K was not expected, but seriously it was very ugly. The design of E.T looked like a booger, the story of the game is strange despite wanting to follow the original story, the environments were very, very poorly designed and it is uncomfortable to play it. It was very sad because there was a lot of potential to be gained and Atari was left in a bad light thanks to this abomination.
2. Superman
Este videojuego para Nintendo 64 no tiene pies ni cabeza. Algo que me he dado cuenta es que el hecho de usar una figura extremadamente famosa no hará que tu producto sea un éxito y este juego es una prueba. Este juego lo jugué porque un amigo cercano milagrosamente lo tenía ya que lo sacaron del mercado muy rápido. Lex Luthor es el villano principal y crea un mundo alterno del cual hay que salvarnos. Más bien parece un Silent Hill mal hecho donde manejar al personaje es complicado y también hay que tomar en cuenta que las misiones son bastante absurdas. Debo destacar que está muy pero MUY mal diseñado, tiene muchos bugs y parece que lo hicieron sin ganas, y la verdad es muy incómodo visualmente. Admito que lo jugué porque vi las reseñas y quería ver con mis propios ojos si era malo. La verdad lo jugué por las risas pero no porque pensara que es un buen juego.
This video game for Nintendo 64 has no head or tail. One thing I have realized is that using an extremely famous figure will not make your product a success and this game is proof. I played this game because a close friend miraculously had it since it was pulled from the market so quickly. Lex Luthor is the main villain and creates an alternate world to save us from. It feels more like a poorly made Silent Hill where managing the character is complicated and you also have to take into account that the missions are quite absurd. I must emphasize that it is very but VERY poorly designed, has many bugs and it seems that they did it without desire, and the truth is very uncomfortable visually. I admit that I played it because I saw the reviews and wanted to see with my own eyes if it was bad. The truth is I played it for the laughs but not because I thought it was a good game.
1. Daikatana
Hablé de este juego en un post hace varios meses sobre mi peor experiencia en los videojuegos, y de verdad les digo que este juego es bastante malo, en serio MUY MALO. Es muy difícil decir que un juego no me gusta porque cuando no me gusta algo simplemente no lo juego para ahorrarme la mala experiencia. Sin embargo, este juego me llamó la atención la verdad no sabía que era tan malo porque cuando lo jugué no leía reseñas de videojuegos. Este videojuego para N64 consiste en niveles raros con monstruos raros, todo raro y la verdad no lo entendí, además que era absurdamente difícil porque intentas salvarte o salvar a tus compañeros pero también mueres tú y no entiendes que está pasando. Es lento, aburrido, absurdo y aunque quiere intentar ser un buen shooting ni eso logra, porque su armamento es bastante pobre. Hay una versión disponible para PC pero les advierto que en serio, no vale la pena.
I talked about this game in a post several months ago about my worst gaming experience, and I really tell you that this game is pretty bad, seriously VERY BAD. It's very hard to say that I don't like a game because when I don't like something I just don't play it to save myself the bad experience. However, this game caught my attention, I really didn't know it was that bad because when I played it I didn't read video game reviews. This video game for N64 consists of weird levels with weird monsters, all weird and the truth is I didn't understand it, plus it was absurdly difficult because you try to save yourself or your companions but you also die and you don't understand what's going on. It's slow, boring, absurd and although it wants to try to be a good shooter it doesn't even achieve that, because its weaponry is quite poor. There is a PC version available but I warn you, it's seriously not worth it.
