This popularity also became an easy shortcut for those programmers who wanted to create their own video game, based merely on this saga of video games that I will talk about next, so much boom caused at the time that several companies launched games with the same characteristic gameplay with different themes, either parodies like Star Wars or items that have nothing to do with a video game, such as a game with kitchen products.
Without more unnecessary talk today I want to talk about the Angry Birds saga, everyone knows this famous video game franchise that started as a university project and in the end ended up being one of the most important and profitable companies in the world of video games not only on pc but also on numerous platforms such as Android or Google Play.
The saga of Angry Birds is a linear 2D video game where we control some angry birds trying to recover their eggs stolen by the evil alien pigs, the main objective of the game is to launch the birds through a slingshot towards the fortress that the pigs build and defeat all the pigs that we have in the level.
Angry Birds has always maintained its characteristic game development, making the player go through different stages of 10 or 20 levels each, in turn, the game will become more difficult as we go through the different phases of the game, this franchise has released many video games, but the ones that stand out the most are only three, the original and the Angry Birds Rio.
In Angry Birds the gameplay is very simple, you launch a bird to destroy a structure, the levels will give you certain birds so you can destroy the structure with a different strategy, all the birds are different in terms of the attacks they can provide you, for example, the red bird is resisting three shocks, the yellow bird resists one hit but is effective on soft blocks like wood or glass, the bluebird multiplies causing an attack in rain, the blackbird to be so corpulent can break a high range of blocks.

It sounds easy but it wasn't, at that level, I had a bluebird and two red birds, if I'm not wrong, I don't remember how long it took me to get the three stars, but I think it was almost a whole year with that level, in that time I also had many other things to play so I didn't give it much importance, I'm not lying when I say that I depended on luck at that time, the pigs for some strange reason they were not crushed by the debris coming from above, sometimes we're only two that disappeared but the third one was always the one that laughed last.
The Angry Birds Rio is one of my favorite games of the franchise, basically, it was because of this game that I got interested in watching the movie that this installment was based on, the movie is about a blue macaw that can't fly due to his upbringing with an inexperienced human, along with the plot he meets his future partner, these birds end up kidnapped by an endangered bird trafficker, they handcuff the two birds, they escape have adventures, fall in love, learn to fly together and are happily ever after.
Ok, the thing is that I really liked both movies, but I'm not here to talk about movies, the main difference between the first Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio is that all the sceneries and levels are related to the movie. In a nutshell, it was the first crossover I had seen that combined the main characters of a video game with the main characters of a movie that happened to have many similarities.
In this game two new birds were added to the group if I'm not mistaken, they were white and green with elongated beaks, I do not remember their specific skills, some details of the game were very good, such as the fact of releasing birds from cages to get three stars in some levels, sometimes if you managed to reach a certain amount of points a giant flock of birds flying behind the slingshot as a form of recognition, once I managed to reach 50. 000 points and the game recognized me with that flock of birds, my computer almost exploded hahaha.

Dicha popularidad se convirtió también en un atajo fácil para aquellos programadores que querían crear su propio videojuego, basándose meramente en esta saga de videojuegos que les hablaré a continuación, tanto boom causo en su momento que diversas empresas lanzaron juegos con la misma jugabilidad característica con diferentes temas, ya sea parodias como Star Wars o artículos que no tienen nada que ver con un videojuego, como ejemplo un juego con productos de cocina.
Sin más palabrería innecesaria hoy quiero hablar sobre la saga Angry Birs, todo el mundo conoce esta franquicia famosa de videojuegos que empezó como un proyecto universitario y al final terminó siendo una de las empresas más importantes y rentables en el mundo de los videojuegos no sólo en pc si no también en numerosas plataformas como Android o Google Play.
La saga de Angry Birds se trata de un videojuego en 2D lineal donde controlamos a unos pájaros furiosos que intentan recuperar sus huevos robados por los malvados cerdos alienígenas, el objetivo principal del juego es lanzar los pájaros por medio de una resortera hacia la fortaleza que los cerdos construyan y derrotar a todos los cerdos que tengamos en el nivel.
Angry Birds siempre ha mantenido su característico desarrollo de juego, haciendo que el jugador pasé por diferentes etapas de 10 o 20 niveles cada una, a su vez el juego se volverá más difícil a medida que vayamos avanzando por medio de las diferentes fases del juego, está franquicia ha sacado muchos videojuegos, pero los que más destaco son sólo tres, el original y el Angry Birds Rio.
En Angry Birds la jugabilidad es muy simple, lanzas un pájaro para destruir una estructura, los niveles te darán ciertos pájaros para que puedas destruir la estructura con una estrategia diferente, todos los pájaros son diferentes en cuanto a los ataques que te puedan proporcionar, por ejemplo, el pájaro rojo es resiste tres choques, el amarillo resiste un golpe pero es efectivo en los bloques blandos como madera o cristal, el azul se multiplica provocando un ataque en lluvia, el negro a ser tan corpulento puede romper un rango de bloques alto.

Los niveles al principio de cualquier Angry Birds son muy fáciles e incluso me atrevo a decir que se repiten en algunas ocasiones, pero a medida que vayamos completando el juego, los niveles se volverán absurdamente difíciles, estos niveles nos van a obligar a tener que pensar muy bien nuestra estrategia y peor aún depender de la suerte, recuerdo uno que era como una torre de cristal, esta torre tenía a tres cerdos por debajo de la capa de tierra donde estaba la resortera ¸ lo que quiere decir que para derrotar a los cerdos necesitaba que el edificio se derrumbara encima de ellos.
Suena fácil pero no lo fue, en ese nivel tenía a un pájaro azul y dos rojos, si no me equivoco, no recuerdo cuanto tiempo me tomó en conseguir las tres estrellas, pero creo que fue casi un año entero con ese nivel, en ese tiempo también tenía muchas cosas más para jugar así que no le di mucha importancia, no miento cuando digo que dependí de la suerte en ese momento, los cerdos por alguna extraña razón no les aplastaban los escombros provenientes de arriba, en ocasiones eran solamente dos los que desaparecían pero el tercero siempre era el que reía al último.
El Angry Birds Rio es uno de mis juegos favoritos de la franquicia, básicamente fue por este juego que me interese en ver la película a la que se basó esta entrega, la película trata sobre un guacamayo azul que no puede volar debido a su crianza con una humana inexperta, a lo largo de la trama conoce a su futura pareja, estos pájaros terminan secuestrados por un traficante de aves en peligro de extinción, esposan a las dos aves, escapan tienen aventuras, se enamoran, aprende a volar juntos y son felices para siempre.
Ok el caso es que las dos películas me gustaron mucho, pero no estoy aquí para hablar de películas, la diferencia principal que hay entre el primer Angry Birds con Angry Birds Rio es que todos los escenarios y niveles son referentes a la película. En pocas palabras era el primer crossover que yo había visto que combinara los protagonistas de un videojuego con los de una película que casualmente tenían muchas similitudes.
En este juego se añadieron dos pájaros nuevos al grupo si no me equivoco, que eran el blanco y el verde con el pico alargado, no recuerdo sus habilidades en específico, algunos detalles del juego eran muy bueno, como el hecho de liberar pájaros de las jaulas para poder conseguir tres estrellas en algunos niveles, a veces si lograbas llagar a cierta cantidad de puntos salía una manada gigantesca de pájaros volando detrás de la resortera como forma de reconocimiento, una vez logré llegar a 50.000 puntos y el juego me lo reconoció con esa manada de pájaros, mi computadora casi explota jajaja.
Bueno familia de Hive espero que les haya gustado el post de hoy, Angry Birds es una de las franquicias que más me gustan en el mundo de los videojuegos en pc que he jugado, en teoría he jugado ya como 5 juegos de esta saga, los dos que mencioné hoy son los más destacados desde mi punto de vista, recuerdo muy bien que estos juego de Angry Birds los jugué en mi mini laptop que por cierto no tenía mucha memoria RAM siempre se ralentizaba, e incluso intenté graba un gameplay pero fue imposible jaja.
