The human being par excellence has always stopped, in his daily life, to find amusement and to feel free of the ties and the stress of daily life. Among this group of amusements are video games. Since technology entered our lives, many (or almost all) of us have experienced what it is like to have fun and relax with a video game.

I am of the old guard (read Atari and other related) and I experienced the pleasure and fun of video games only when I became a mom. Yes, it seems unbelievable but that's how it is. And I did it through the video games I used to buy for my son Gabriel, the Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Playstation in all its versions (1,2,3) and I also remember the Xbox and the Nintendo Wii.

All fun and cool. A moment that took me from adulthood and its responsibilities to the magical world of fun and digital entertainment. My favorites were always the games on the Gameboy Advance and the DS, perhaps because of its size and ease when you wanted to play, they gave you an incredible comfort, compared to what today's cell phones give us.

Of those two, the Gameboy Advance had many nice games for me. One of the ones I remember was Kirby, that little pink doll that was a kind of balloon, that's what he resembles the most to me, who undertook an adventure in which he had to fight with various opponents (mushrooms, ninjas, fire monsters, lightning, a kind of small robots) in short, a range of obstacles that are presented on the way and against which he must fight to recover what the adventure has imposed on him.

It is a colorful game (that fascinates me in games of this type). Very pleasant to look at. Easy to play. It keeps you entertained in the adventure of going through many challenges and obstacles on a path where you are always in expectation of who will be your final opponent.

El ser humano por excelencia, siempre se ha detenido, en su cotidianidad, a encontrar diversión y sentirse libre de las ataduras y el estrés del diario vivir. Entre este grupo de diversiones se encuentran los videojuegos. Desde que la tecnología entro a nuestras vidas, muchos (o casi todos) hemos experimentado lo que es un rato de diversión y relax con un videojuego.

Soy de la viejísima guardia (léase Atari y otros afines) y experimenté el placer y la diversión de los videojuegos solo cuando fui mamá. Si, parece mentira pero es así. Y lo hice a través de los videojuegos que le compraba a mi hijo Gabriel , el Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Playstation en todas sus versiones (1,2,3) y recuerdo también el XBox y el Nintendo Wii.

Todos absolutamente divertidos y geniales. Un momento que me llevaba de la adultez y sus responsabilidades, al mundo mágico de la diversión y el entretenimiento digital. Mis favoritos siempre fueron los juegos en el Gameboy Advance y el DS, quizás por su tamaño y facilidad a la hora de querer jugar, te daban una comodidad increíble, comparada a la que hoy día nos dan los teléfonos celulares.

De esos dos, el Gameboy Advance tuvo muchos juegos bonitos para mí. Uno de los que recuerdo fue Kirby, aquel muñequito rosado que era una especie de globo, es a lo que se me asemeja más, que emprendía una aventura en la que tenía que luchar con diversos oponentes (hongos, ninjas, monstruos de fuego, rayos, una especie como de robots pequeños) en fin, una gama de obstáculos que se le presentan en el camino y contra los que debe luchar para recuperar lo que la aventura le haya impuesto.

Es un juego colorido (eso me fascina en los juegos de este tipo). Muy ameno a la vista. Fácil de jugar. Te mantiene entretenido en la aventura de atravesar muchos retos y obstáculos en un camino en el que siempre estás a la expectativa de quién será tu oponente final.

Currently, I had to download a Gameboy Advance emulator on my cell phone, which, allowed me to relive that great time when, when Gabriel was asleep, I would stay up late at night playing Kirby and other similar adventures. I had to wait for him to go to sleep because, as a child, at last, he never wanted to lend it to me. I remember those days and can't help the smile on my face. These games can evoke memories and make you happy again, just like back then.

There are several versions of Kirby. I started this time with the one called Nightmare in Dreamland. In it, Kirby lives in the wonderful Dream Land where there is a magical fountain that gives the ability to dream to the inhabitants of that land. That fountain also collected the dreams of all the inhabitants of Dream Land. And it made them have a refreshing rest at bedtime.

One day, all the inhabitants lost the ability to dream and it was because an evil character called King DeDeDe, had the idea of taking a bath in the fountain. This nefarious character also stole the stellar wand that was the source of the fountain's power and broke it into little pieces to give it to his accomplices, who were also evil.

Our hero is Kirby, who has to undertake that adventure and recover the dreams and the Dream Land's ability to rest in a journey like the one I described at the beginning.

En la actualidad, tuve que descargar un emulador de Gameboy Advance en mi teléfono celular, lo cual, me permitió volver a revivir esa estupenda época en la que, cuando Gabriel se dormía, yo me quedaba hasta altas horas de la noche jugando Kirby y otras aventuras similares. Tenía que esperar que se durmiera porque, como niño al fin, nunca me lo quería prestar. Recuerdo esos días y no puedo evitar la sonrisa en mi rostro. Estos juegos tienen la capacidad de evocar recuerdos y hacer que vuelvas a ser feliz, como en aquel tiempo.

Hay varias versiones de Kirby. Empecé en esta oportunidad por la llamada Pesadilla en la tierra de los sueños. En ella, Kirby vive en la maravillosa Tierra de los sueños (Dream Land) donde existe una mágica fuente que da la capacidad de soñar en los habitantes de esa tierra. Esa fuente también recolectaba los sueños de todos los habitantes de Dream Land. Y hacia que tuvieran un descanso reparador a la hora de dormir.

Un día, todos los habitantes perdieron la capacidad de soñar y era porque un malvado personaje llamado Rey DeDeDe, se le ocurrió darse un baño en la fuente. Este nefasto personaje robó también la varita estelar que era el origen del poder de la fuente, y la partió en pedacitos para regalárselos a sus cómplices, malvados también.

Nuestro héroe es Kirby, quien tiene que emprender esa aventura y recuperar los sueños y la capacidad de descanso de Dream Land en una travesía como la que describí al comienzo.

Kirby's power lies in sucking up to his enemies and swallowing them and then using them as a weapon against others, expelling them or with the button that means down on the left keys of the emulator, acquiring the enemy's power and using it to defend himself. For example, the power of the ninja (I love it), the lightning monster (another of my favorites), the rubber that sweeps away everything in its path. This helps you move forward very quickly, in short, all the relevant powers. Among other things, it has an appendix of mini-games at the beginning, small challenges also to entertain you.

Kirby is a fabulous adventure, one of those games that keep you glued and enthralled, until the alarm sounds that your cell phone battery is running out. I was able to relive beautiful memories playing it again. I will keep trying even though I have lost my superpowers (practice). These are moments of relaxation that are always needed.

El poder de Kirby radica en aspirar a sus enemigos y tragárselos para luego usarlos de arma contra otros, expulsándolos o con el botón que significa abajo en las teclas izquierdas del emulador, adquirir el poder del enemigo y utilizarlo para defenderse. Por ejemplo, el poder del ninja (me encanta), el del monstruo del rayo (otro de mis favoritos), el caucho que arrolla todo a su paso. Este te ayuda a avanzar muy velozmente, en fin todos los poderes que sean relevantes. Entre otras cosas, tiene un apéndice de mini juegos al principio, pequeños retos también para entretenerte.

Kirby es una aventura fabulosa, de esos juegos que te mantienen pegado y enviciado, hasta que suena la alarma de que se está agotando la batería de tu celular. Pude revivir hermosos recuerdos volviendo a jugarlo. Seguiré intentándolo a pesar de que ya, evidentemente, perdí mis súper poderes (la práctica). Son momentos de relajación que siempre hacen falta.

I hope you liked it and I encourage you to play it either for the first time or reliving past moments like me. Great with the emulator, really quite satisfactory performance as when I used the Gameboy.

I don't pretend with these lines to make an expert review because I don't consider myself a Gamer at all as I have stated in my previous publications, but rather I do it from my personal experience, having played it again.

Espero les haya gustado y se animen a jugarlo bien sea por vez primera o reviviendo momentos pasados como yo. Estupendo con el emulador, de verdad bastante satisfactorio el rendimiento como cuando usaba el Gameboy.

No pretendo con estas líneas hacer una reseña de tipo experto pues, no me considero para nada Gamer como lo he acotado en mis anteriores publicaciones, sino más bien lo hago desde mi experiencia personal, habiéndolo jugado nuevamente.
