A game of mental agility and with a lot of demand for spatial sense that was born in 1974, a work of art designed by Erno Rubik; the truth is that before I met him, it seemed like just another game, and although I considered it to be something very complex, and indeed it was, it did not generate much interest in me for several reasons, one of them being that I found video games much more entertaining.

As time went by, when I was 19 years old, while surfing on youtube, I came across a video about the new world record that had been set for that moment, I decided to watch the video and I was surprised to find out that it had been set in less than 6 seconds, A time that left me completely shocked, I simply hallucinated with the speed with which it was resolved, and how easy it was to see, and it was in that instant that I felt a great attraction and interest in having a rubik's in my hands, the game with the highest number of sales in history.

By that time I was out of my city, but it was not an obstacle to get a cube, so I went out and bought one in a nearby store, I knew it was a simple cube, because of how cheap it was, I still wanted it to learn how to solve this popular puzzle, I set out to learn with youtube, so I looked for some tutorials that taught the "beginner's method", an algorithm to which I dedicated everything one afternoon, just repeating the video several times until I managed to solve it, and even when I finally succeeded, I decided to undo it to reassemble it, although this time I was planning to do it without any help.

When I finally managed to put it together without any help, I felt quite satisfied, it had taken me about 8 hours to memorize the algorithm of the beginner method that reduces the more than 43 trillion possible solutions, to an 8-step algorithm, that the truth after memorizing, is impossible to forget.

But everything was not there, so I decided to acquire a Speed Cube, which is a rubik's cube with a professional assembly that allows the development of fluid and much faster movements, with a certain freedom that allows the pieces not to get stuck when making extremely fast movements.

When I finally got this wonderful Rubik's Cube, which is the same one you are seeing in my pictures, I felt ecstatic, it was a gift from my sister, I couldn't handle my happiness, and the first thing I did was to start assembling the cube to see how fast I could do it, I remember that in one of my first attempts it had taken a little more than 3 minutes.

Hours later I was already reaching 2 minutes to complete the cube solution, and it took me a total of 4 days to reach my lowest time, which was 56 seconds, I always did it with a rubik's cube timer that can be easily found on the internet, after that, I could not overcome my time, and I did not know why, although researching on the Internet I realized that there were shortcuts within the already known algorithms, but for that I had to learn the nomenclature of movements of the Rubik's Cube, something I never learned, because I had only memorized that algorithm.

Always while learning to solve the Cube, I had decided only to memorize the algorithm, but not to learn its nomenclature, a decision that affected me when I wanted to make a time of at least 25 seconds, so I decided to keep what I had learned, and what I recommend to my readers that if they learn to put together this fantastic puzzle, learn from the beginning the nomenclature of solution, so they can learn more advanced methods.

With time I knew that this puzzle helped our brain in our aspects, mainly to develop our spatial sense, because when solving it, sometimes we must assume positions of the pieces that our eyes do not see, but that our mind assumes, because the back of the cube is not visible, but knowing the basic principles of Rubik's Cubes, we will understand much more advanced things, that from one moment to the next exercise our mind in a formidable way, something that we can see as a result when giving solution to complex situations, either in the field of study, work, or personal situations.

In short, it is a way to exercise our mind, to keep it active, to develop an intellectual capacity that we may not notice, but that somehow does have an effect, because things that seem complex to us, become more solvent, or at least understandable to us. In fact, at my university there is a professor of Computer Engineering whose first activity he sends to his students is to learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube, because he indicates that this will help them open their minds more to understand even more complex things at higher levels of the career.

This could be a perfect gift for the children of the house, although to tell the truth it is a game that has no age limit, and helps to entertain us and at the same time exercise our mind, I think it is the best gift we can give to someone who is interested in improving their mental and synchronization abilities.

Cubo Rubik: ¡Así es como Aprendí a Resolverlo en 1 Día! - Los Beneficios de este Juego

Un juego de agilidad mental y con mucha exigencia de sentido espacial que nació en 1974, un obra de arte diseñada por Erno Rubik; la verdad, es que antes de conocerlo, me parecía un juego más, y aunque consideraba que era algo muy complejo, y en efecto lo era, no me generaba gran interés por varias razones, una de ellas, porque los videojuegos me parecían mucho más entretenidos.

Con el paso del tiempo, a mis 19 años, mientras navegaba por youtube, me topé con un vídeo que se trataba sobre el nuevo record del mundo que se había establecido para ese momento, decidí ver el vídeo y me topé con la sorpresa de que había sido armado en menos de 6 segundos, un tiempo que me dejó completamente impactado, simplemente alucinaba con la velocidad con la que era resuelto, y lo fácil que lo hacían ver, y fue en ese instante en el que sentí una gran atracción e interés por tener un rubik's en mis manos, el juego con mayor número de ventas en la historia.

Para ese momento me encontraba fuera de mi ciudad, pero no era impedimento para conseguir un cubo, por lo que salí y adquirí uno en una tienda cercana, sabía que era un cubo sencillo, por lo económico que era, aún así lo quería para aprender a resolver este puzle tan popular, me dispuse a aprender con youtube, así que busqué algunos tutoriales que enseñaban el "método principiantes", un algoritmo al que me dediqué todo una tarde, solo repitiendo el vídeo varias veces hasta lograr resolverlo, y hasta cuando por fin lo logré, decidí deshacerle para volver a armarlo, aunque esta vez pensaba hacerlo sin ningún tipo de ayuda.

Cuando por fin conseguí armarlo sin ninguna ayuda, me sentí bastante satisfecho, me había tomado unas 8 horas memorizar el algoritmo del método principiante que reduce las más de 43 trillones de soluciones posibles, a un algoritmo de 8 pasos, que la verdad luego de memorizar, es imposible de olvidar.

Pero todo no quedaba allí, así que decidí adquirir un Speed Cube, el cual es un cubo rubik con un ensamble profesional que permite un desarrollo de movimientos fluidos y mucho más rápidos, con cierta libertad que permite que las piezas no se queden trancadas al momento de hacer movimiento extremadamente rápidos.

Cuando por fin obtuve este maravilloso Cubo Rubik, que es el mismo que están viendo en mis fotos, me sentí extasiado, era un regalo que me hacía mi hermana, no pude con mi felicidad, y lo primero que hice fue empezar a armar el cubo para ver que tan rápido podía hacerlo, recuerdo que en uno de mis primeros intentos había tardado un poco más de 3 minutos.

Horas después ya estaba alcanzando los 2 minutos para completar la solución del cubo, y me tomó un total de 4 días llegar a mi tiempo más bajo, el cual fue de 56 segundos, siempre lo hacía con un cronometro de cubos rubik que se puede encontrar fácilmente en internet, luego de eso, no pude superar mi tiempo, y no sabía porque, aunque investigando por internet me dí cuenta en que existían atajos dentro de los algoritmos ya conocidos, pero para ello tenía que aprenderme la nomenclatura de movimientos del Cubo Rubik, algo que jamás aprendí, pues yo solo había memorizado dicho algoritmo.

Siempre mientras aprendía a resolver el Cubo, había decidido únicamente memorizar el algoritmo, más no aprender su nomenclatura, decisión que me afectó al momento de querer hacer un tiempo de al menos 25 segundos, por lo que decidí quedarme con lo que había aprendido, y con lo que recomiendo a mis lectores que en caso de aprender a armar este fantástico puzle, aprendan desde un inicio la nomenclatura de solución, para que luego puedan aprender métodos más avanzados.

Con el tiempo supe que este puzle ayudaba en nuestros aspectos a nuestro cerebro, principalmente a desarrollar nuestro sentido espacial, pues a la hora de resolverlo, en ocasiones debemos suponer posiciones de las piezas que nuestros ojos no ven, pero que nuestra mente asume, pues la parte trasera del cubo no es visible, pero conociendo los principios básicos de los Cubos Rubik's, entenderemos cosas mucho más avanzadas, que de un momento a otro ejercitan a nuestra mente de una manera formidable, algo que podemos ver como resultado a la hora de dar solución a situaciones complejas, bien sea en el campo de estudio, laboral, u situaciones personales.

En pocas palabras es una forma de ejercitar a nuestra mente, de mantenerla activa desarrollar una capacidad intelectual que quizás no notemos, pero que de alguna forma si surge efecto, pues cosas que nos parecen complejas, pasan a ser más solventes, o al menos entendibles para nosotros, de hecho en mi universidad hay un profesor de Ingeniería Informática que la primera actividad que manda a sus alumnos, es la de aprender a solucionar el cubo Rubik, pues el indica que esto les ayudará a abrir más su mente para entender cosas aún más complejas en niveles más altos de la carrera.

Este podría ser un regalo perfecto para los pequeños de la casa, aunque a decir verdad es un juego que no tiene límite de edad, y ayuda a entretenernos y a la vez a ejercitar nuestra mente, creo que es el mejor obsequio que podemos dar a alguien a quien le interese mejorar sus capacidades mentales y de sincronización.
