Crazy Taxi is an arcade-style racing game, where our goal is to pick up passengers and take them to their destination. It was released in arcade for the year 1999 and then, a year later, it arrived for the beautiful dreamcast console. In this last version, the game was so successful that it became the third best selling Dreamcast console game. I must not forget to mention that, Crazy Taxi was developed by Hitmaker and brought to us thanks to the famous company SEGA.

The dynamics of the game is quite fun, we will have the option to select one of 4 taxi drivers and start driving around the city looking for passengers. The passengers go to different areas and have different tariffs, you will have to see their color to be able to obtain the greater amount of money possible and to break the marker.

Don't get too confident, you'll have an estimated play time, so don't run out of passengers or it will be completely sold out. While we take the passengers, we can get more money out of them by doing tricks, pretending you're going to crash, jumping with the car, in short, you must go really crazy taking your passengers.

If you're one of those people that the GPS doesn't help you to locate in the games, in Crazy Taxi we have a green arrow that guides us to the point where we must leave each passenger that we get into the taxi. Once we arrive at the place, the passenger drops the money and we go in search of another one. I must point out that, despite the main time, each passenger has his own time to get to his destination. If this time runs out, you will lose the passenger or if you are almost out of time, the pay will not be very good so you must be quick.

The soundtrack of the game is one of the aspects that jump out quickly and that's because we have music from the bands The Offspring and Bad Religion. The punk rock music gender, makes the adrenaline rise, the game is faster, more fun and fresh. It doesn't matter if you are not a fan of these bands, the combination of a crazy taxi and their music go hand in hand.

When I bought a Dreamcast console, it was one of the games that I did or had to play. At that time, there was no Internet like there is today, and buying game magazines and reading good reviews made you want to have it. If you haven't played Crazy Taxi yet, it's a game that you should play. You can play the Android version and drive like crazy to make money but tell me something, would you get into a taxi like that?
