Hello to the entire Hive Gaming community, this is my second post about videogames, although the first one a rookie mistake but I hope in this one to do things in a better way, since this is Halloween month I would like to dedicate myself in the remainder of the month to talk only about the horror games that I have played and that have left me with one or another trauma haha, this time I want to talk about an incredible and quite terrifying game, I want to talk about Dead Space.

This game is a 3D shooter and we have a third-person perspective (seriously this type of perspective is very useful for games of this type because we have a good visual to find our enemies) this game is set in space and also It could be considered a survival horror (which has this label very well earned because this game seriously hits some brutal scares), this game has been so successful that it has had other games, a very good animated film and even comics (they have taken a lot out of it I take advantage of the saga haha).

This game came out for the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 and for the PC and was made by EA Redwood Shores (this company also made Dante's Inferno which is a brutal game and also the other three games in the Dead Space series) and was distributed by Everyone under the Electric Arts (EA) label and on the Steam and GOC platform, it was released in 2008 (more than ten years have passed since its launch but it is still an excellent game).

In this game we must survive inside a spaceship called USG Ishimura which due to events that we will find out while we are playing the game, it is full of a species of zombies called Necromorphs (their transformation from humans to these beings is something worthy of an excellent horror movie because it not only transforms humans into beings with the need to transmit the virus, although they must first kill the future hosts of the virus, but it also reconstructs the shape of these through brutal modifications of the bones and the tissue besides that it can not only change a single individual but also unite several to form a new and very very scary being and if you want to see it in a different animation I recommend the film that is seriously brutal), in the course of the game we will find different types of Necromorphs that have very particular abilities and that we will have to attack in specific ways to e our life and oxygen bar is not reduced (because remember that this game takes place in a spaceship), this game reminds us a little of the movie Alíen and also other horror movies in space like Event Horizon and in the end it You can see some slight references to the author of cosmic horror HP Lovecraft (for some aesthetic aspects of the enemies and in addition to the story).

While we are going through the game we will not only find different types of Necromorphs but we will also find different weapons to face them but we can only carry 4 at the same time also that we can improve these weapons to make them much more effective for combat (because some of these weapons are really work tools but they can be used to kill these space zombies), we also have something called Stasis which allows us to slow down objects around us, this gives us a great advantage when we want to defeat enemies very fast or to pass with easier for very fast obstacles.

This incredible game is not only well received by fans of horror games, but it also swept the critics and sales because it had more than 3 million copies both in physical format and digital downloads, and as I said before it has its reception has been so brutal it has allowed you to get three more games out of this franchise (the other games are also very good, they have not lowered the quality at all).

Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive Gaming, este es mi segundo post sobre videojuegos aunque el primero un error de novatos pero espero en este hacer las cosas de mejor forma, como este es el mes de Halloween me gustaría en lo que queda de mes dedicarme a hablar solo de los juegos de terror que he llegado a jugar y que me han dejado con uno que otro trauma jaja, esta vez quiero hablar de un juego increíble y bastante aterrador, quiero hablar de Dead Space.

Este juego es un shooter en 3D y tenemos una perspectiva en tercera persona (en serio este tipo de perspectiva es muy útil para juegos de este tipo porque tenemos un buen visual para encontrar a nuestros enemigos) este juego esta ambientado en el espacio y además también se podría considerar un survival horror (que muy bien ganado tiene esta etiqueta porque en serio pega unos sustos brutales este juego), este juego ha sido tan exitoso que ha tenido otros juegos, una película animada muy buena y hasta comics (le han sacado mucho provecho a la saga jaja).

En este juego debemos sobrevivir dentro de una nave espacial llamada USG Ishimura la cual debido a eventos de los que nos iremos enterando mientras vamos pasando el juego, esta se encuentra repleta de una especie de zombis llamados Necromorfos (su transformación de humanos a estos seres es algo digno de una excelente película de terror porque no solo transforma a los humanos en seres con la necesidad de transmitir el virus aunque primero deben asesinar a los futuros huéspedes del virus sino que además reconstruye la forma de estos mediante modificaciones brutales de los huesos y el tejido además de que no solo puede cambiar a un solo individuo sino también unir a varios para formar a un nuevo y muy muy aterrador ser y si quieren verlo en una animación diferente les recomiendo la película que en serio es brutal), en el transcurso del juego nos iremos encontrando con diferentes tipos de Necromorfos que tienen habilidades muy particular y que deberemos atacar de formas específicas para que nuestra barra de vida y oxigeno no se reduzca (porque recuerden que este juego transcurre en una nave espacial), este juego nos recuerda un poquito a la película Alíen y también a otras películas de terror en el espacio como Event Horizon y al final se pueden ver unas ligeras referencias al autor de horror cósmico H.P. Lovecraft (por algunos aspectos estéticos de los enemigos y además de la historia).

Mientras vamos pasando el juego no solo nos encontraremos con diferentes tipos de Necromorfos sino también encontraremos diferentes armas para poder enfrentarlos pero solo podremos llevar 4 al mismo tiempo además que podemos ir mejorando estas armas para hacerlas mucho mas efectivas para el combate (porque algunas de estas armas realmente son herramientas de trabajo pero pueden ser usadas para acabar con estos zombis espaciales), además también tenemos algo llamado Estasis lo cual nos permite ralentizar objetos a nuestro alrededor esto nos da una gran ventaja cuando queremos vencer a enemigos muy rápidos o para pasar con mayor facilidad por obstáculos muy rápidos.

Este increíble juego no solo es bien recibido por los fanáticos de los juegos de terror, sino que también arraso con las criticas y con las ventas porque tuvo mas de 3 millones de copias tanto en formato físico como por descargas digitales, y como dije anteriormente ha sido tan brutal su recepción ha permitido que salgas tres juegos mas de esta franquicia (los otros juegos también son muy buenos no han bajado la calidad para nada).

Este juego en serio es genial y las transformaciones de los Necromorfos y los sustos que logra sacarnos es algo en serio increíble, a quienes les gusten los juegos de terror y quieran aprovechar para pasar algunos en este mes de Halloween se los recomiendo al 100%, espero que les guste este post y si pueden darme consejos o ayudas en los comentarios para mejorar mis posts seria de mucha utilidad, gracias y espero que se encuentren muy bien.
