Weekly Challenge -- Screaming Banshee

....we are talking about one of my favorites cards so i couldn't resist writing a post about this mysterious ghost-lady....

...a death Splinter EPIC card ..so fragile just 1 unit of life when we are talking BCX,level 1....the maximum you can on lvl 6 is 3 units of life but even this is nothing compare to other monsters at this lvl...
...her fighting power though makes a difference if you combine it with the mana cost that this lady requires in order to be used....
...lets see her stats on the card below...

...now let me share with you one of this week's battle using the Banshee...

...let me explain the battle step by step..
...first of all when you are going to battle (i know it's boring for some of you but let me explain some things for the newbies) you have to always check on your opponent...what is the deck he uses the most and the power of the monsters of his deck...
...i'm telling you this cause i'm one of these guys who play with a lvl 1 deck most of the times and i have encountered higher decks like lvl 4 ,lvl 5 and i have won...
....after checking your opponent you go straight to the games rules...
...as far as it concerns this battle ,it was a 23 mana cost battle with no modification to standard rules and mechanics...
...fire,water and earth Splinters were disabled so i chose my favorite Splinter to have this fight,the death Splinter...

....what was the Summoner though???....
...well the mana cost of the battle was an average lvl of 23 mana units..
...so i decided to use my lvl 1 Crypt Mancer,which consume 5 units of my mana...

...i was left with 18 mana units so i had to get a structure on my deck which had to include a tank on my first place and a serious amount of attack force on the following ones ...
..and don't forget all of this with only 18 mana units...
...to cut the long story short Banshee was a Must with only 3 mana units required to be used so i laid my deck from first place to the last as following...

• Haunted Spirit lvl 1
• Creeping Ooze lvl 3
• Screaming Banshee lvl 1
• Fallen Specter lvl 1
• Haunted Spider lvl 3
• Twisted Jester lvl 2

...Haunted Spirit with 7 life units and the healing ability made a difference believe me...
... magic attack monsters placed first....ranged attack monsters placed at the end cause if you loose your tank and a range attack monster comes in the first place becomes totally useless...
...the Creeping Ooze always useful, reducing the agility of the opponents deck, placed second in the queue in case i loose my tank to give an extra chance to my attack monsters to fight before they were sacrificed....
...the battle was ready to begin!!!!

...the outcome of the battle as you can see on the link provided above was a success ...i won the battle pretty easy...i only lost my Creeping Ooze monster...
..let me tell you Sreaming Banshee makes a perfect couple with the Fallen Specter...it couldn't have gone better...16 DEC was added to my balance as a prize and i was happy enough to continue with my next fight!!!
