JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Phantom Blood: (I got the wrong community, Sorry!)

Yare Yare Daze, after postponing it for a few years, I finally started watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and of course I started it from its first part: Phantom Blood. And being such a popular anime/manga, it was inevitable that I knew some events that are happening during this long history of JoJo's, even so, despite knowing certain things about the history (although when I saw this first part, I only knew 10%) I set out to see this mythical anime, and I liked it quite a lot.

I think that one of the adjectives by which JoJo's Bizarre Adventure can be catalogued would be: Exaggeration. An adjective that covers many factors in this story, from powers, skills, dialogues, characters, even the plot and at least this 1st part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I did not think it was so "exaggerated", although I am sure that as the story progresses, little by little it will happen.

I thought that the "Stands" which are so characteristic of this anime/manga would appear in this first part, but I was told that they appear from the 3rd part, this surprised me quite a lot, since the "system of powers" of Phantom Blood, is simple, but I think it is very well presented and explained. I'm already looking forward to seeing how the entire Stands power system is introduced into the story, since I really don't know anything about how such rare, but striking and powerful powers originated.

The story of this first part is simple, but it serves as a prologue to the madness to come. Zeppeli seemed to me the best character in this first part, although it was little his appearance, his death and the teaching he gave Jonathan Joestar was worthy and very useful for future generations, followed by Jonathan Joestar himself (JoJo from now on), his evolution as a character of being a spoiled child but with some very well marked principles, until he became an adult, very determined only makes his death much more tragic and sad.

"Dio", on the other hand, from the first chapter I hated him, but in a good way, since it is the purpose of this type of characters, that you hate them because of how they were built in the story. I understand that Dio is taking on more of a role in the next few parts, so I like that quite a bit, he's a great character and a good villain. JoJo's father, I didn't like this character, a bit of an asshole for preferring Dio over his own son many times, even though it was clear that Dio was mistreating Jojos, quite an asshole was JoJo's father and along with Jojo's father, I think the other worst character was Speedwagon, because he didn't do anything useful during the first part, just shouting, over-explaining things and being a complete useless, I really hope that in the 2nd part (which I know will appear) he will do something useful, because for now, along with JoJo's father, he seems to me to be two of the worst characters so far.

And well, for now I don't have much to say about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood, I just liked this first part a lot, it serves as a prologue and as a presentation of characters and a power system that will gradually intensify. Although there is something that I didn't like, it's that they over-explain many situations in the battles, and I know that this is quite common in anime/manga in general, but in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure it's too exaggerated, I hope it won't be that way throughout the story, or maybe it's part of their "style" and I'll have to get used to it. Next week I will start watching the 2nd part, since the 1st part with 9 chapters was quite short (even though it took almost 2 weeks to finish it, all because of procrastinating).

Many people don't like this part, but I think it's a good beginning for the joestar story.

I really liked this first part, even though I already knew some things about the plot. By the way, yesterday I started the second part.
