The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a video game of the ROL and action genre that was developed by Bethesda Game Studios for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. Its distribution in the market was on November 11, 2011 for the already mentioned platforms. The main story of the game is based on the lands of the province of Skyrim that are at war for two political divisions which want to keep the total control of the territory. At the beginning the player is imprisoned and is being transferred to his prison and then he escapes and there begins the action and adventure. This is one of the best role-playing games that we have seen in history, due to its extension and how complete it is in terms of history, playability and technical sections. This game is of open world; that is to say, that it is developed in many locations where the player has the full freedom to move, in addition to which the empire is to the wait of its savior so that everything remains in peace and it is there where between the abilities of the player to obtain the objectives raised in the game.

As far as gameplay is concerned, the game is really good. The first thing the player must do is to create a character, the good thing is that he can create it to his liking. There are 10 races that we can use one of them for our characters, these are High Elf, Argonian, Breton, Forest Elf, Dark Elf, Red Guard, Imperial, Khajiite, Nordic and Orc. Each one of these races has different characteristics and abilities, however at the moment of choosing our character and the selection of the race is not as crucial as we think since each one of them has different things that work correctly when advancing in the game. A very complete game as far as the creation of the character is concerned, since apart from the race we can edit the physical aspect (skin tone, weight, head shape, dirt, scars, war paint, type of nose, jaw, wrinkles, color and shape of the eyes, eyebrows, mouth, hair, and a long etcetera), sex, among other things. Another thing that is really good is the game interface as it is practical and easy to use.

The game takes place in an open world, where the player must perform as many main missions, as some secondary missions, but of course the main mode is the story mode, which to play it all takes many hours because the story mode is well created and well developed by the creators of the game for greater entertainment of the players. This game is about fights where different weapons are used like, but only one weapon and one shield could be used at a time which the player can select the one he wants most. And not only can be used, but also magical attacks, depending on the race of the character we have selected. The combat system is good, not the best but it has good better and more to be a role playing game. Besides, it is very important to mention that to go up faster in the game it is necessary to level up our character, which will also improve his skills and characteristics. These skills range from hitting, using magical attacks or not, plus there are characters that acquire the ability to heal themselves, which makes the game much more interesting.

Visually the game is really good, the truth is that it is one of the best I have seen at this time among the role-playing games, not the best but one of them, and depends on the taste of each player. Visually the game is extremely good both technically and artistically. Among the technical aspects, the modeling of the characters stands out, as well as the textures of the objects that make up the setting, which is very good and well worked. What is the fluidity of the game is very correct, with good FPS rates in which the game runs works well, what are the visual effects are good both the environments as the game has changes in weather something that is new and had not seen in other games, but not only that but the impressive effects we see during the battles. There is also an effect of change from day to night and vice versa. Artistically I can tell you that I was quite impressed, an excellent work, where the characters were created with magnificent details, extensive and very well worked. In short, the graphic section is one of the best things we see in the game.

Now we go with the sound section that is as good as the previous one, Everything seems to me to be good, both the sound effects that we see at the time of the fights and the recreations of the environmental sounds of the game, that the truth is that it is very according to the type of game. The soundtrack is so, but so good that I am quite convinced with the greatness of this game in this aspect, because the soundtrack is quite entertaining and very according to the environment in which we are in the game, both in the different menus and when we are in the different environments. We also have the voices that are very correct and the best thing is that it is dubbed into Spanish. However, the voices in English are better, because the dialogues are very correct. In short, Bethesda Game Studios has done a good job in the technical part of the game, without leaving aside what is the sound, making a great effort both technically and in terms of resources because due to the number of characters, many artists were hired for the creations of the voices of the characters.

In conclusion, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a great role-playing video game that takes place in an open-world setting. In terms of gameplay, it is very entertaining, with a fairly complete story mode that provides greater entertainment for players. We also have main missions within the same story mode and some complementary ones that give us a plus in terms of gameplay. The amount of characters we have available is good, besides there are several races to use the one of our preference. Graphically the game is impressive, amazing, both technically and artistically because the game we have some good models of the characters and the textures of the objects are very well detailed, without leaving aside the visual effects. The sound section is as good as the graphic, because it has good sound effects, the voices of the characters are correct, and the soundtrack is amazing. For all that said is that I give a 9.5 to the gameplay, 10 to the graphics and sounds respectively.
