Neverwinter is a videogame developed by Cryptic Studios for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. The same of the massively multiplayer online role-playing genre totally free, which was launched to the market by Perfect World Entertainment for the aforementioned platforms on June 20th, 2013. In recent years the Internet world has been flooded with free online games which has made users look for those that provide more entertainment such as simple game mechanics, a good number of game modes, the fewest errors and the least amount of money, if 0 better. However these games that are usually free we can also spend real money that allows us to obtain resources and options that give us advantages when advancing in the history of the game. The aspect of this game at the beginning was quite promising so I confess that I was quite excited to see the good look and attractive interface, in addition to how great the scenarios look, but I will talk about them later when I touch each of the most important and relevant aspects when making a review or give a review about a game. In this case for me the most important ones are the gameplay, game modes, graphics and sounds, plus any other information that helps us to complement the content to be as clear as possible for the readers.

As for the gameplay I can tell you that the player must choose the class of your character as most of the games of this class to go through each of the game modes, where the most important thing is to go watching and knowing each one of them and see what they really are. The combat system is really good or at least I liked it because the battles have a frantic pace and the game must always be pending because otherwise it will fall quickly. The game doesn't have a MANA control so only the player must wait for an ability to be activated to use it, which is both positive and negative, it all depends on the taste of the player himself. Having no MANA is positive because we can always attack without having to reserve anything for the next competition, which I think if there was a balance at this point it would be much better. Another thing that really caught my attention is that the game is usually so personalized in many aspects, that each player has a different point of view of the quality or not of the game. Beyond all the good stuff, the game also has some bugs or things that could have been better to improve the entertainment of the players, but it is not something that greatly lowers the level of positive reviews of the game.

The truth is that one of the things I didn't like at all was the variety in what the characters' clothes and weapons are that we can use, of course unless we pay there if we get new benefits. By paying with real life money we can get clothes, weapons, costumes and any other resource with which we can customize our character. To buy the objects, resources or tools we can use three kinds of coins, bronze, silver and gold, the difference is the quality of the resource we are going to buy. Another thing that I think is important to mention is the difficulty of the game that is not high nor so simple, so we can make our quests ourselves, without the help of any partner. However the game also presents us the option of having a partner which facilitates everything in the different missions we have in the game, but as I said before is not necessary. Another interesting thing is the great map that the player can go through, with total freedom and more being a game with massive players.

Now I will develop the technical part starting with the graphics. Graphically I think the game is quite good in each of its points, nothing very outstanding like other titles. The modeling of the characters is good, with excellent details as well as the artistic part itself that I think they did a very good job. The scenarios were well created with good details and quite colorful as well as the characters which gives a plus to this part of the game. The visual effects are the highest part of the graphic part with good flashes and effects that we see when the characters make their different attacks. What is the fluidity of the game is something that worried me, but I can tell you that it worked correctly, where I noticed very few bugs or errors and the lag was nothing to highlight. In general this point is quite good, which doesn't mean that it is perfect since as every game and more of role have some bugs and more when new updates are made to improve the experience of the players. The interface of the game is something that I also like very much, being something that always draws the attention of the players visually.

As far as the sound is concerned, some are made of lime and others of sand. Among the good things are the soundtrack that if it is according to what is happening or we see, because it does not have much variety in what the songs are what makes the player get bored easily to hear the same. Another thing that meets but is not surprising are the sound effects that in many cases are what most stand out in this type of game. Finally we have that the game is completely in English, which we can get used to as time goes by, but it is something that disappoints me since this game is very played by Spanish-speaking people or that Spanish is their native language. In short, I expected more from this technical section which is always what stands out most in the games or at least as far as I'm concerned.

In conclusion, Neverwinter is a pretty entertaining game, but it has its negative details that I don't really think give the game a bad level or reputation. Within the gameplay the best thing is the combat system and the PVP mode, however it has some other details that can be improved for the future. The graphics are something that I like a lot, the colorfulness of the game, the good of the sound effects and the well created characters and scenarios. The sound is the most disappointing thing about the technical part, because the sound effects leave something to be desired, the soundtrack is good, according to what is happening at the moment, but it lacks variety in the musical themes so that the players do not tend to get bored, besides the game is completely in English, both the voices and the text. For all the mentioned is that I give it a 8.5 in terms of playability, a 9 in graphics and a 7 in sound.

For all the above, I give a 8.1 out of 10 to Neverwinter.
