Steam Summer Sale

Just as much as winter, summer means amazing deals on Steam! Have you checked them out yet? Spoiler alert: I've bought Monster Hunter World.

My purchase was made yesterday, so I've only tested a few of them so far. I have not touched Gathering Sky, The Samaritan Paradox and Monica yet.

Onset and Golf It!

I cannot say much about Onset either because there were almost no servers at all. Almost no players. Servers are player hosted on this game. But there is one particular roleplay which indicated "opens at 19h00". I thought that was a great idea from whoever is hosting it. And it's a brazilian server, too. I'll try it later.

Speaking no servers, Golf It! wasn't playable because of this same problem. Buy it with friends or ignore it altogether. I'm probably going to refund both Onset and Golf It! because of this.

Pummel Party

Pummel Party is just like Mario party, but from 2 all the way up to 8 players. You can go online while bringing extra local players and the end-of-round minigames are fun.

But it does not have something really important which is very present in the Mario Party games: fluff. A setting. Genuinely unique maps and characters. The board just floats in space and gets randomized. It's fun though, I recommend it, it just could use some more personality.

Monster Hunter: World

Beautiful, intense and amazing. This multiplayer-focused action rpg has a tight and lively community which embraces even solo players. The combat is just a little bit slow because it every punch is supercharged. You have to time your movement and your strikes, you don't just dice and slice. It works brilliantly.

MHW is everything you've heard from others and then some. Its discount is great right now so if you can pick it up, do yourself the favor. Embrace the love.
