West Gunfighter: The best Western style mobile game [ENG/ESP]

When I was a kid, cowboy movies were my favorite, whether it was the thrill of fighting bandits, duels to the death for honor, gold or hidden treasures, horseback riding, or just a life where you are the one who delivers justice.

All this was the main attraction of westerns, many actors excelled in this style of film, but for me, Clint Eastwood was the best of them all.

But the Western-style entertainment is not only in the movies or series, but it has also appeared in video games and has shown how well you can develop this style in video games, proof of this is red dead redemption 1 and 2, western-style games very interesting and with an incredible reception, as they show what it was living in that era, also the missions and the cowboy lifestyle make you live a unique experience in the far west.

But, the only detail is that if you want to enjoy what RDR 1 and 2 offers you must have a good pc or a video game console, and as I don't have one I can't share the excitement of playing these incredible titles. But a few days ago I was viewing the google play download trend page and I noticed a very interesting title: "West Gunfighter".

At first sight, I thought it was a cheap and bad copy of RDR because even the miniature is the same. But after downloading it and playing for some hours I noticed that it is the best adaptation for android of RDR (It is not the same RockStar franchise). Whether for the plot, missions, duels, clothing, weapons. The whole game is a marvel but best of all is that it weighs only 20Mb and occupies a storage space on your phone of 56 Mb with the downloads of additional worlds.

As I mentioned before, the gameplay of West Gunfighter is very similar to that of RDR, since basically the game is about doing different missions and completing them to advance in the story of the video game.

The main missions are to kill zombies in the cemetery, catch or annihilate a bandit or a band of thieves, hunt deer, bears, wolves, or jaguars to obtain skins, and search for hidden treasures in the mines or all over the map fighting monsters.

You also have your horse, a faithful and loyal companion that accompanies you in all your adventures and to get out of many predicaments. I remember that in a mission to hunt a deer there was a grizzly bear and thanks to the horse I was able to escape from this fight in obvious disadvantage for me.

A point in favor of this game is that you don't have to worry excessively about your horse since in all the time I played I never needed water or food, also if you leave him to walk you don't have to go back to look for him, just press the whistle button and your horse will go immediately to where you are.

The controls of your characters are very simple, since on the left side of the screen you have the motion control, when you use it you can direct it wherever you want even when you are mounted on the horse. And on the right side of the screen, you have the different options to shoot, reload, call your horse and when you are mounted on your horse you will see the rein option to run faster.

A big disadvantage that I found in the handling of the characters is that when you go to shoot it is very difficult to control the shot and it is a little complicated to hit the target, plus many of the missions set as requirements to kill enemies with a headshot but it is difficult to achieve it with such an imprecise shooting control.

In addition to the primary missions you have other game options if you want to take a break from killing bandits, in what I could explore the town I found darts games, blackjack games in the bar, marksmanship games, horse racing, and duels to the death in different parts of the map.

All are recommended so you can have a greater understanding of the games and you will be easier to understand the functions of your character, besides making good money because when you play these mini-missions additional betting money that you will be doubling with each game, if you manage to win all you will have a lot of money and if not, then it will happen to you like me that you will lose everything.

In addition, it has a store that has a wide variety of items and weapons that will make you buy them all, when you start you get a revolver of low caliber nothing useful, but in the store, you can find powerful weapons or a combination of a weapon for each hand, as well as semiautomatic rifles and shotguns of high caliber, you also have the option to buy clothes that will give you advantages in terms of armor or faster horses and with different designs and colors.

Also, in the store, you can buy blood jars that replenish your life so you do not die when you suffer an attack, as well as ammunition for your weapons.

Disadvantages

West gunfighter, although it is a wonderful mobile game has some very obvious disadvantages that subtract some points, and they are:

The improvements or purchases of weapons: Although it is very easy to get the diamonds or gold needed to buy all the weapons in the store, the hard part is trying to improve them to be better and you can face everyone and is that the weapons are improved with broken parts or fragments of weapons that you earn as rewards for completing the missions, and I stress that the only way to get the fragments completing and to the letter the missions, many of which are extreme and it is very difficult to fulfill in detail everything.

The enemies: Another big disadvantage that west gunfighter has is the enemies, they are ridiculamentes invincible or when you are in a mission 6 gunmen with shotguns and rifles approach at once and with a weapon that sucks you can not cope, also if you die in the mission and do not want to lose the progress you have to pay with 5 diamonds which by the way are not so easy to get. And when enemy attacks you die very easily as is in the case of missions with zombies or missions in the mines when you face monsters, as with a single hit you take 75% of life.

Apart from these 2 disadvantages, it is an extremely cool game with which you can enjoy hours and hours of gameplay. One way to improve this game 100x is if they release a PC version, as it would be much easier to play it on a pc, I plan to download an emulator so I can better enjoy this game on the PC which I know will eliminate some of the problems I had on the smartphone.

I will give a score of 9/10 to West Gunfighter, because it is an excellent game that reminds a good time where I watched a lot of Clint's movies, if you want to download it I will leave the link here

Cuando era pequeño, las peliculas de vaqueros eran mis favoritas ya sea por la emocion de los combates con los bandidos, los duelos a muerte por el honor, el oro o tesoros ocultos, las corridas en caballos o simplemente una vida donde eres tu quien imparte la justicia.

Todo esto Era el principal atractivo de las peliculas de estilo western, hubieron muchos actores que destacaron en este estilo de pelicula, pero para mi Clint Eastwood fue el mejor de todos.

Pero el entrenimiento de estilo Western no solo esta en el cine o las series, tambien ha aparecido en los videojuegos y ha demostrado lo bien que se puede desarrollar este estilo en los videojuegos, prueba de ello es red dead redemption 1 y 2, juegos de estilo western muy interesantes y con una increible recepcion, ya que muestran lo que realmente era vivir en esa espoca, tambien las misiones y el estilo de vida de vaquero hacen que vivas una experiencia unica en el lejano oeste.

Pero, un unico detalle es que si quieres disfrutar de lo que ofrece RDR 1 y 2 debes tener una buena pc o una consola de videojuegos, y como no tengo ninguna pues no puedo compartir la emocion de jugar estos increibles titulos. Pero hace unos dias estaba visualizando la pagina de tendencia de descargados de google play y note un titulo muy interesante: "West Gunfighter".

Aprimera vista me parecio una copia barata y mal hecha de RDR, ya que hasta la miniatura es la misma. pero luego de descargarlo y jugar algunas horas note que es la mejor adaptacion para android de RDR (No se trata de la misma franquisia RockStar). Ya sea por la trama, las misiones, los duelos, la vestimenta, las armas. Todo el juego es una maravilla pero lo mejor de todo es que pesa solamente 20Mb y ocupa un espacio de almacenamiento en tu telefono de 56 Mb con la descargas de los mundos adicionales.

Como mencione antes, la jugabilidad de West gunfighter es muy similar a la de RDR, ya que basicamente el juego se trata de hacer distintas misiones y completarlas para asi ir avanzando en la historia del videojuego.

Las misiones principales son matar zombies en el cementerio, atrapar o aniquilar algun bandido o a una banda de ladrones, cazar venados osos, lobos o jaguares para obtener pieles y buscar tesoros ocultos en las minas o en todo el mapa luchando contra monstruos.

Ademas cuentas con tu caballo, un fiel y leal compañero que te acompañana en todas tus aventuras y para salir de muchos aprietos. Recuerdo que en una mision para cazar un venado habia un oso grizzly y gracias al caballo pude huir de esta pelea en obia desventaja para mi.

Un punto a favor de este juego es que no debes preocuparte excesivamente por tu caballo, ya que en todo el tiempo que jugue nunca necesito agua o comida, tambien si lo dejas para caminar no debes regresarte a buscarlo, simplemente presionando el boton de silbido y tu caballo ira inmediatamente hasta donde tu estes

Los controles de tu personajes son muy sencillos, ya que en la parte izquierda de la pantalla cuentas con el control de movimiento, al usarlo lo puedes dirigir a donde quieras incluso cuando estas montado sobre el caballo. Y en la parte derecha de la pantalla tienes las diferentes opciones para disparar, recargar, llamar a tu caballo y cuando estes montado en tu caballo saldra la opcion de rienda para correr mas rapido.

Una gran desventaja que encontre en el manejo del personajes es que cuando va a disparar se hace muy dificil el control del tiro y es un poco complicado acertar en el blanco, ademas de que muchas de las misiones fijan como requisitos matar a los enemigos con headshot pero es dificil lograrlo con un control de disparo tan impreciso.

Ademas de las misiones primarias tienes otras opciones de juegos si quieres descansar de matar bandidos, en lo que pude explorar del pueblo me encontre con juegos de dardos, juegos de blackjack en las tarbernas, juegos de punteria, carreras de caballos y duelos a muerte en distintas partes del mapa

Todos son recomendados para que puedas tener mayor comprension del juegos y te sea mas facil comprender las funciones de tu personaje, ademas de hacer un buen dinero ya que al jugar estas mini misiones adicionales apuestas dinero que iras doblando con cada partida, si logras ganar todas pues tendras una gran cantidad de dinero y si no, pues te pasara como a mi que perderas todo.

Ademas, cuenta con una tienda que tiene una amplia variedad de items y armas que te haran comprarlas todas, cuando empiezas te dan un revolver de bajo calibre nada util, pero en la tienda puedes encontrar armas poderosas o la combinacion de un arma para cada mano, asi tambien como rifles semiautomaticos y escopetas de alto calibre, tambien tienes la opcion de comprar ropa que te dara ventajas en cuanto a armadura o caballos mas rapidos y con distintos diseños y colores.

Tambien, en la tienda puedes comprar los fracos de sangre que te reponen la vida para que no mueras cuando sufres un ataque, asi como municiones para tus armas.

Desventajas

West gunfighter, aunque es una maravilla de juego para moviles tiene algunas desventajas muy obias que le restan algunos puntos, y son:

Las mejoras o compras de armas: Aunque es my facil obtener los diamantes o el oro necesario para comprar todas las armas del la tienda, lo dificil esta en tratar de mejorarlas para que sean mejores y te puedas enfrentar a todos, y es que las armas se mejoran con partes rotas o fragmentos de armas que vas ganando como recompensas al terminar con exito las misiones, y recalco que la unica manera de obtener los fragmentos completando con exito y al pie de la letra las misiones, muchas de las cuales son extremas y es muy dificil cumplir a detalle todo.

Los enemigos: Otra gran desventaja que tiene west gunfighter es en cuanto a los enemigos, son ridiculamentes invensibles o cuando estas en una mision se aproximan 6 pistoleros con escopetas y frifles de una sola vez y con un arma que apesta no puedes hacerle frente, ademas si mueres en la mision y no quieres perder el progreso tienes que pagar con 5 diamantes que por cierto no son tan faciles de conseguir. Y cuando un enemigo te ataca mueres muy facilmente como esen el caso de las misiones con los zombies o las misiones en las minas cuando te enfrentas contra monstruos, ya que ellos con un solo golpe te quitan un 75% de la vida.

Fuera de estas 2 desventajas, es un juego sumamente genial con el cual puedes disfrutar de horas y horas de videojuego. Una manera de mejorar al 100x este videojuego es si lanzaran una version para PC, ya que seria mucho mas facil jugarla en una pc, yo planeo descargar un emulador y asi poder disfrutar mejor este video juego en la PC que se que eliminara algunos de los problemas que tuve en el smartphone.

Yo le dare una puntuacion de 9/10 a West Gunfighter, porque es un juegoexcelente que recuerda una buena epoca donde veia mucho las peliculas de Clint, si deseas descargarlo te dejare el enlace aqui
