So we waited!!! In Oceanplanet you can more or less play as before. Mining has undergone drastic changes and has become more cost-effective and safe for the development team, but will the players like it? I think the answer to this question can only be given in time.

I was pleasantly surprised by the message from the development team, which in about an hour announced the exact time of the update and technical work that took place on the game's website. The update itself lasted less than an hour and was performed without significant failures. Respect! More details about the update can be found in this official message Ocean Planet 1.5.0 Update.


Judging by my few hours of gaming experience after the upgrade, here's what changed in Oceanplanet after upgrade 1.5.0:


In principle, there was only one change, but it caused a number of small changes that follow from it. This is a radical change in mining.


I'll start with the fact that now you can only get 1 resource card (Farewell amber 5 in one cell).


Removed the opportunity to collect loot while the net is immersed in new prey. Now, loot is not reset, even if you go into inventory.


The first inventory card has started working - a washer, which starts the process of automatic opening of cells with loot in turn.

The loss of various items in the loot, their price and points of sale have changed dramatically. The cost of the most expensive card now does not exceed 0.99 C24

In principle, this is where all the changes I noticed end. What do I think about this update? In my opinion, update 1.5.0. created the necessary economic base, which should scare away those who want to make money on the game using bot farms. As for real players, we would like the existing NFTs to be a kind of catalyst that would only improve the opportunities in the game.


If in version 1.4.5 it was completely unrealistic to play, then in update 1.5.0 you can already play, but this is still the masochism at this stage. I want new game mechanics, for example daily quests would be a great addition to this release, which would give at least some motivation to play.
