As many of you know, I have a passion for puzzle and riddle games. However, these days, getting a little more out of quarantine, I've been doing a little tour of other game genres, and among them I've come across

. A nice 3D platform video game that made me evoke the famous games of Buzz Lightyear and his friends. I guess it was because of its colorful graphics, the dynamics of collecting coins, or perhaps because of its other striking details, that the game managed to hook me immediately.

The story of

is simple and refreshing. The little bear Baaren is called upon to be the hero, when he takes upon his shoulders the responsibility of freeing the Animal World from the evil plans of the queen bee who has ordered to infect the whole kingdom with purple honey. This strange honey causes unusual violence and malice in the animals and has brought about much confusion and disorder as part of the queen bee's plan of domination and control. But luck has smiled on the bears, who are the only animal species in the kingdom that is immune to the catastrophic effects of the purple honey. When the bees become aware of this new development, they set out to capture all the bears, without counting on the existence of a brave bear who is willing, together with his friend Shicka, to rescue his friends and reverse the queen's sinister plans, and establish normality in the region once again.

As I mentioned before, the graphic section of

is especially captivating, especially colorful and full of beautiful shades achieved with a stunning attention to aesthetics that make it extraordinary. You might think it was designed just for the little ones in the house. But I assure you that it can be enjoyed by the whole family.

EartwarGames, as developers of the video game

, offer us six (6) levels in an open world with very precise maps that show the dynamic gameplay with which the game was elaborated. In the version for cell phones we will be able to use a Joystick to move around the map. Sometimes we will be defending ourselves from the attack of some of the turtles infected with purple honey, others we can make some strategic pirouettes to escape or get out of some predicament, or simply use it when requesting some kind of help or direction. To continue advancing in the different levels we will have the option to discover objects that will be of great help in achieving our goals.

The music has always been a very careful section when it comes to video games. I have always been struck by how accurate most of the people in charge of making the music selection are. When we get hooked in a game for hours and the music does not represent any obstacle but on the contrary, it encourages us to keep playing for long periods of time. That's when we discover that this is a soundtrack like no other. In

we will be listening to a simple but enveloping musical selection that will catch our senses in a subtle way and will provide us with a pleasant and motivating game stay.

Just as the little bear Baaren was called to be a hero, today many doctors, nurses and many other allied people have been called to fight the hard battle against this covid-19 virus that has no color. To them I pay tribute and send my thanks for all they are doing to free the earth shire from such a beastly pandemic.

. Son tiempos muy dificiles para todos, sin embargo, sigo optimista y confiado que mas temprano que tarde reaparecera, mucho mas brillante, la luz al final del tunel.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, me apasionan los juegos de rompecabezas y acertijos. Sin embargo, en estos días, sacándole un poco más de provecho a la cuarentena, he estado haciendo un pequeño recorrido por otros géneros de juegos, y entre ellos me he encontrado con

. Un simpático videojuego de plataforma en 3D que me ha hecho evocar los celebres juegos de Buzz Lightyear y sus amigos. Imagino que fue por lo colorido de sus gráficos, la dinámica de recoger monedas, o quizás por sus otros llamativos detalles, que el juego logro engancharme de inmediato.

La historia de

es sencilla y refrescante. El osito Baaren es llamado a ser el héroe, cuando toma sobre sus hombros la responsabilidad de liberar al Mundo de los Animales de los malévolos planes de de la abeja reina quien ha ordenado infectar a todo el reino con miel morada. Esta extraña miel provoca una inusual violencia y malicia en los animales y ha traído mucha confusión y desórdenes como parte del plan de dominio y control llevado a cabo por la abeja reina. Pero la suerte le ha sonreído a los osos, quienes son la única especie animal del reino que es inmune a los efectos catastroficos de la miel púrpura. Al percatarse las abejas de esta novedad emprenden la captura de todos los osos, sin contar con la existencia de un valiente oso que está dispuesto, junto con su amiga Shicka, a rescatar a sus amigos y revertir los planes siniestros de la reina, y establecer nuevamente la normalidad en la comarca.

Como mencioné anteriormente el apartado gráfico de

es especialmente cautivante, especialmente colorido y lleno de hermosos matices logrados con una atención pasmosa en la estética que lo hacen extraordinario. Se podría pensar que fue diseñado solo para los más pequeños de la casa. Pero les aseguro que puede ser disfrutado por toda la familia.

EartwarGames, como desarrolladores del videojuego

, nos ofrecen seis (6) niveles en un mundo abierto con mapas muy precisos que dan cuenta de la jugabilidad dinámica con la cual fue elaborado el juego. En la versión para teléfonos móviles podremos utilizar un Joystick para movernos por todo el mapeado. Algunas veces iremos defendiendonos del ataque de algunas de las tortugas infectadas con miel morada, otras podremos hacer algunas estratégicas piruetas para escapar o salir de algún aprieto, o simplemente utilizarlo a la hora de solicitar algún tipo de ayuda o dirección. Para seguir avanzando en en los diferentes niveles tendremos la opción de descubrir objetos que serán de gran ayuda en el logro de nuestros objetivos.

La música siempre ha sido un apartado sumamente cuidado cuando de videojuegos se trata. Siempre me ha llamado la atención lo atinado que son la mayoría de los encargados de hacer la selección musical. Cuando nos enganchamos en un juego por horas y la música no representa ningún obstáculo sino que al contrario nos impulsa a seguir jugando por largos periodos de tiempo. Entonces es cuando descubrimos que se trata de una banda sonora sin igual. En

estaremos escuchando una sencilla pero envolvente selección musical que atrapará nuestros sentidos de una manera sutil y nos proporcionará una estadía de juego amena y motivadora.

Así como el osito Baaren fue llamado a ser héroe, hoy en día muchos médicos, enfermeras y muchas otras personas aliadas han sido llamados a dar la dura batalla contra este virus covid-19 que no tiene color. A ellos les rindo tributo y les envío mi agradecimiento por todo lo que se encuentran haciendo para liberar lá comarca terrestre de tan bestial pandemia.
