Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments | gameplay fiction-06

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is an adventure mystery game. It's based on the Sherlock Holmes novel, which was a big hit. Still, there is a lot of fans for the mastermind Sherlock Holmes.

Here I am converting the game into a fictional story, there's plenty of moments which words can't describe. So I will be narrating the story with a little bit differently. The plot and incidents will be the same. Some dialogues and some other small stuff will be changed to make it a better one to read. This will be a series, where each post comes as each chapter.

Sherlock saw him from a distance, He is a lonely figure now. the cell wasn't well lighted.it seemed like the guy is in the middle loneliness. There was a desk in front of the chair he was sitting, there also a chair left for Sherlock. He firmly walked in the room and sat on the chair. Sherlock's senses started working so fast to deduct this person. In the first appearance, John seemed like an Innocent guy, But there are some mysteries, Sherlock could smell them. There were some scars in his hands, They seemed fresh.

Sherlock stood up from the chair, His hands went into his jacket and he took out a notebook.

"Does this notebook belong to you?". Sherlock asked it and waited for him to reply.but the reply was spontaneous.

"Yes. But where did you find it ? I thought I lost it at the hotel." He was slightly stammering when he was saying that. then Sherlock didn't waste much time. He asked about the abbreviations about the notebook. but John was Hesitant to reply, He said like if he explained it, it will make his situation worse. Then Sherlock moved on to the next evidence, It was about the sea knife which was found near the body.

Sherlock asked that is that the knife which Mr.Carey used to defend himself. Sherlock knew that this question will disturb John, And he wanted that.

"I don't know. I didn't kill anyone."The reply was like Sherlock expected, It made him uncomfortable. Sherlock knew that it's the time to ask him about the Ring. In this uncomfortable state, there will be something slipping out of his mouth.

"It's mine, I didn't steal it from anyone." John was trying to prove his innocence very hardly. He was very much sensitive about the ring. Sherlock had some really good deduction in mind to ask John about the ring. He noticed the engraving on the ring and the year mentioned in it, He knew that it's very old and it shouldn't be given by a lover or something. So there will be a story behind it. Sherlock wanted to know about it.

"The Ring is Mine", John replied in a bit firm voice. He knew that it's time to be rough. He's very much cared about his He wanted to have privacy about his family. details and deduction Sherlock got, he started coming up with ideas about the ring and this man's job.

From the scars, Sherlock came at an assumption that the scars are from cutting fishes. It will be the job he has found after his father's death. Maybe the situation made him these things. Sherlock confirmed from the coat that he's from a rich family, but something happened recently changed the situation. Maybe his father's death. Surely, his father's clothes also.

Sherlock said these assumptions of him to John, he wasn't expecting it. He couldn't find any reason Sherlock finding these things. There's a lot of things still haunts Sherlock's mind, but he tried to be calm and the one who knows everything. This also took away the comfort John, he wanted to find something else to talk about his situation.

"I haven't done anything, stop treating me like a culprit. Leave me alone."

This time John was in a way crying, he wanted to get out of this trouble. Sherlock didn't waste much time on finding more about his emotions. He leaves the cell, he had some other things in mind to do. Walking through the cells to reach the front, John's face was in Sherlock's mind. He still wanted more clear ideas, he half believes John is an innocent man.

He could see the cart waiting for him on the road, Sherlock went towards it and got inside. Took his pipe out and started smoking. This time it's the knife on the floor about which most of his thoughts are in his mind. There's still a lot of doubts inside his head about the knife, how it came to the floor. The cart slowed down near Baker street, Sherlock got out and walked towards upstairs. He wanted to see his friend to clear the doubts inside his head.

As expected Watson was standing around the corner of the room, he is reading something. As expected when Sherlock reached near him, he was eager to hear about his investigation. Sherlock said he is still not clear about John. He believes that there's still to find out the murder, the knife on the floor is also a contradiction.
