Yeah finally, after one day I tried to focus on drawing my favorite character to following a contest on Hive Gaming, and today I have finished drawing it. But actually I have never drawn before, but because I like the super mario characters and also love Hive Blockchain I try to take my time to draw it. Yeah even though sometimes I'm busy with my work, but I try to draw it while I'm looking at the chart.

What made me choose the super mario character?
The thing that made me choose Super Mario is because the iconic character from the Nintendo universe is one of the most famous characters and mascots in the world. Its popularity even surpasses other characters such as Sonic, Zelda and other. From arcade games Mario Kart to platformers such as Super Mario Bros., Mario has an outstanding reputation in the video game industry. And not only that I chose this character, but because Super Mario has accompanied me as a child and has recognized me with games or made me a gamer at that time. xD

And the thing I like most about the super mario character is that he works as a carpenter, and then becomes a plumber. The reason why he changed his profession to plumber may be that the Mario Bros game is underground. That's what I really like about the super mario character, because I also ever worked as a carpenter and plumber before I not know blockchain.

The things that has influenced me by this character.
Who doesn't know the figure of Mario? The plumber in the red hat and the thick mustache has indeed transformed from an iconic figure for Nintendo, the console he has been living in for so long, into an integral part of the gaming industry itself.

Super Mario Bros no words can describe this game actually. Hearing the name alone is enough to make me feel nostalgic about the childhood that this game is pretty much filled with. In fact, Super Mario Bros is a game that got me sucked into the black hole of the gaming industry and fell in love with it. If Super Mario Bros started the heyday of Nintendo and the success of the Mario franchise. For me, this game started my life as a gamer.

It is still quite etched in my memory how my father at that time came with this game cartridge in hand. Because the price of Nintendo cartridges was quite expensive at that time, of course NES did not have pirated games, so there were very few alternative games that I could play at that time. Every game that my father brought home became a very valuable game resource, and fortunately Super Mario Bros. had entered my life. No other choice might describe my reason for trying this game for the first time. However, when I played it the second time and so on, I couldn't stop. And maybe that's what I can tell you guys why I chose Super Mario character.

The way I draw this character

Okay I will tell you a little how I draw Super Mario characters. I drew it using the dotpict application on my phone. Dotpict is one of the unique drawing apps, because it carries a pixel art theme. You can zoom in and create a little scene just by filling in the pixel squares. This application also has auto-saving, undo and redo features. You can save your art when you are finished. This is an excellent application for creating pixel art on your phone.

But yeah even though it looks a little difficult to draw because I drew it using my hand without using the help of a stylus pen, but I still try to draw it to produce results that look good. Yeah looks good maybe if I'm see, not other people. xD

When I drew it, I saw an example from this photo and I just changed it a little bit so it's not fully visible I took the example from the photo.
