Have you prepared in depth, and if so; how many levels of backup plans do you have?

Prepping is becoming much more popular, as people watch most governments spend at unsustainable levels. With this level of unsupported money, the world's economy Must fail like the house of cards it has become!

I'd like to get you thinking outside the box, as it could save lives. Prepare as quickly as possible, but work (it Is hard) to include backup methods for everything you can. It is better if those backups are a second use of something you need anyway.

I will focus on one prep, but use this as a method for as many areas as you are able. This is prepping in depth, and it will make life easier when the SHTF.

We have all seen empty shelves, most commonly of toilet paper. Last time this occurred, I started buying a case every month from Amazon. I am not recommending them, but rather I am recommending a monthly purchase from a store of your choice.

So now I have over a years worth of deliveries stored on the homestead, as my primary prep for this need. Here is an entire mini shower in my RV full of toilet paper.

I will continue this, until the cost becomes prohibitive, as it is convenient; and will carry us for years.

This is the limit of many prepping plans, but what do you do when this stock run out (as it will)? Just adding more inventory will kick the can down the road, but finite supplies Will eventually run out!

You need a backup plan, for that day...so we should plan today. We should look at what was done a century ago, as they solved this problem already. They kept rags to clean up with, that were washed and reused. Now before you begin cutting up a bunch of clothes to sew the edges for this use, is there an easier way?

IMG_20210906_214436613.jpg
Since washcloths are an obvious need on any homestead, why only buy a few? This pack contains 60, and they will fill this need well; and I can an save a lot of time that would have gone into sewing! Some will criticize me for convenience prepping, but keep in mind that we are spending resources to prepare. One of those resources is time, an be assured that time is expended as certainly as cash; and may be much more limited, with inflation breathing down our necks!

Spending a little on convenience, can allow me to focus time on things too expensive or too specialized to purchase. Things I build can save me thousands, and make purchases like this a very smart buy. I intend to buy at least 3 more packages, in the next few months!

Now I have a primary, and a secondary plan in place...is it enough? I prefer to have a backup to my backups, so I bought a bidet as my tertiary backup (it's not here yet).

If you can plan three levels deep, double using common supplies where possible; the inevitable surprises that occurs to disrupt your prepping, will be a speed bump and not a brick wall.

Pick one area of your existing plan, and think through some work arounds. No one can do a better job for you, than yourself; once you forget "the box", and turn your mind loose!

What are some backups to backups are you prepping for? Something you have worked out, may help someone else out of a bad spot.

Get small farm so you can make your food , this is the best thing to do, and next try get community what can help lot also.

Growing food is the best protection! Stocking in non GMO seeds is critical, so you can make your own seeds too.

A community is better for long term SHTF survival, but is very hard to do; as it takes a special mindset to be an asset, when civilization fails! It is quite important, and the single largest gap in prepping planning. I suspect that most community planning will occur after things have gone sour.

I have 6 families within a mile, and I have only talked to one thus far... I need to do better on this myself. People living out that far are by nature, more independent; so that is a good starting point.

Be safe!

If you have big land, you can build two more houses on there to bring closer families who are interested getting out of town and living there in nature and to make a community. You can also rent small land out and sell later, if they have an interest in being there longer.

I have already placed a travel trailer on the land to bring in family.

I will also build two greenhouses, to extend the growing season.

With the unchecked spending, normal will be greatly reduced when the money becomes useless.

We will do fine here, but a lot of good people will be in trouble. The more self sufficient we are, the better off we will be!

I worry for sheeple who are too trusting! They will be at the highest risk for problems. Maybe I can help some of them, if I prepare enough....

Surplus amounts of MRE's or better versions of them actually. half the basement is dedicated to this sort of thing. I hadn't really thought about TP and what not because i don't really see that as an essential but then again look how nuts people went for that for no particular reason when Covid first started. sheesh people are stupid.

TP is essential here, because I taught my sweetie how to shoot... LOL 😂

My prepping includes food, but also everything else I can think of that will help during a SHTF scenario. This especially includes items easy to find today, that will be sparse then.

Sheeple ARE very stupid, and will likely starve as a direct result!
