Today's journal/blogging prompt: What makes you feel loved and appreciated?

I'm a simple person. It doesn't take a lot to please me. I'm also not into fancy stuff and all. I mean they could be nice to have, but I'm more after the functionality. I would appreciate little, meaningful gifts and tokens of appreciation more. Like that time when my daughter bought me my favorite chips for her Mother's Day gift for me. That was back in the days when she was still in school. Here's another one of her gifts for me........

I have had this original poem written by my daughter for quite some time now. I haven't shared it anywhere until now. I have kept the card she had given me and made it part of my daily journals. I'm glad I kept this photo because now I have enough reason to share it. I truly appreciate the fact that my daughter went out of her way to write a poem for me. It made me feel loved and appreciated. And no, it's not only on occasions, but in small, every day stuff that are too many to mention. I'm thankful. I'm blessed.
