Prompt A Day | City Living

The 23rd day of the Prompt A Day challenge by @shadowspub is here. Just a few more days left in the first month of the year.

Today's chosen prompt is from the word prompt: living

I've been living in the city all my life. In fact, I don't think that I could compare it to anything else, as I haven't lived outside the metropolis. It has its perks for sure, but it also has its downside. I guess it's a matter of what appeals to you more. Honestly, I won't mind living out of town, but I don't see that happening just yet.

Crowded streets and slow-moving traffic are just some of the annoying things that you get living in the city.

You've got to admit that there are perks in city living. If you live in a nice high-rise building, you could get amazing night views. Some even have the perfect sunset view.

In my case, there's a nearby church 450 meters away (approximately 6 minutes walk) and a mall some 750 meters away (around 10 minutes walk). Spell convenience. Add markets, schools, hospitals, pharmacies, etc. to the list. Amazing perks, right?

I guess you could say that at this point I can't complain much about city living. Plus, I'm used to it. I have learned to avoid crowds and busy streets by planning ahead. For now, I'm at home here. Who knows what the future will bring, right?
