I've always liked time travel, and video games of my time are a good opportunity to experience it. Even though I declare myself not to be an expert on the subject, I like to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. I feel that a good writer has to do it from time to time and, at this moment, I assume it with this exciting topic.

The video games of my time ran on more rudimentary devices compared to those of today. However, for me, it was best to take Gabriel's Game Boy Advance and immerse myself in those little games that enraptured me and monopolized my time, making me happy.

Undoubtedly, one of those games that I enjoyed to the fullest was Bomberman, which is an absolutely simple game from many points of view, it is quite entertaining and it makes the mind and senses more agile.

This was an emblematic game of my 90's more or less, I remember it with great affection for all the pleasant experiences I lived with it. That's why to differentiate me a little from what is usually done (and because I don't like to do reviews) I bring you a Bomberman Non-Review!

Siempre me ha gustado viajar en el tiempo y, los videojuegos de mi época, son una buena oportunidad para experimentarlo. Aún y cuando me declaro, nada experta en el tema, me agrada retarme y salir de mi zona de confort. Siento que un buen escritor tiene que hacerlo de vez en cuando y, en este instante, lo asumo con este apasionante tema.

Los videojuegos de mi época, se ejecutaban en dispositivos más rudimentarios si los comparamos a los del tiempo actual. Sin embargo para mí, era lo máximo tomar el Game Boy Advance de Gabriel y sumergirme en esos jueguitos que me enviciaban y acaparaban mi tiempo haciéndome feliz.

Sin duda alguna uno de esos juegos que disfruté en grande y a plenitud, fue Bomberman, que siendo un juego absolutamente simple desde muchos puntos de vista, es bastante entretenido y agiliza la mente y los sentidos.

Este fue un juego emblemático de mis años 90 más o menos, lo recuerdo con bastante cariño por todas las experiencias agradables que viví con él. Es por eso que para diferenciarme un poco de lo que generalmente se hace (y porque no me gusta mucho hacer reseñas) ¡Les traigo una No-Reseña de Bomberman!

I had to download a version more or less similar to the original, in the play store of my cell phone. And even though the presentation is nice and pleasing to the eye, having to play with the digital buttons on the sides of the screen touch style, is more difficult than on the Game Boy keys.

What I can assure you is that it was beautiful to play it again, although I must confess that I lost a lot of practice and, now and then, the little orange monsters ate me and I had to start the level again (I spent a lot of time on this, I assure you).

The game has a fairly simple plot, in its development, we are a character who tries to recover his planet from the hands of evil entities that came to destroy it. For that, we do it using our master skill that is explosives in general, with them we will make our way through labyrinths plagued by monsters and obstacles, and once we finish with everything that is asked of us we can advance to the next level.

The presentation is simple and very nice. Each level consists of a maze full of blocks or bricks. The character-driven by us must make his way by placing bombs in these obstacles and at the same time, taking care of the arrival of the orange monsters, who when released from the obstacles, chase us to eliminate us. A fast and fun race that I lost many times in this new time I had to play it.

The player's skill consists of placing the bombs quickly and running away to avoid being hit by their destructive effect. It is difficult to reach the monsters with the bombs because they move away very quickly and we must also run away so as not to be eliminated.

Tuve que descargar una versión más o menos parecida a la original, en la playstore de mi teléfono celular. Y aún cuando la presentación es bonita y agradable a la vista, el tener que jugar con los botones digitales a los lados de la pantalla al estilo táctil, es más dificultoso que en las teclas del Game Boy.

Lo que si les aseguro es que fue hermoso volverlo a jugar, aunque debo confesar que, perdí muchísimo la práctica y, a cada rato, los pequeños monstruos naranjas, me comían y debía empezar de nuevo el nivel (mucho rato pasé en esto, se los aseguro).

El juego tiene un argumento bastante simple, en su desarrollo, somos un personaje que intenta recuperar su planeta de las manos de entes malvados que vinieron a destruirlo. Para eso lo hacemos por medio de nuestra habilidad maestra que son los explosivos en general, con ellos nos haremos caminos en especies de laberintos plagados de monstruos y obstáculos y una vez acabando con todo lo que se nos pide podemos avanzar al siguiente nivel.

La presentación es sencilla y muy agradable. Cada nivel consta de un laberinto lleno de bloques o ladrillos. El personaje manejado por nosotros, debe abrirse paso colocando bombas en dichos obstáculos y a la vez, cuidándose de la llegada de los monstruos naranjas, quienes al liberarse de los obstáculos, nos persiguen para eliminarnos. Una carrera veloz y divertida que perdí muchas veces en este nuevo tiempo en que me tocó jugarlo.

La habilidad del jugador consiste en colocar las bombas rápidamente y huir para que no lo alcance su efecto destructivo. Es difícil alcanzar los monstruos con las bombas, pues se alejan muy rápido y nosotros debemos huir también para no ser eliminados.
