The following tracks are a selection of the fantastic independent musicians that use AtomCollectorRecords.com:

Nyertun - Mindconnection - 06 - Memory by @beats4change

From around 1999 to 2002 I did some electronic music using the Jazz++ midisequencer and then recording the tune running through a software wavsynth, can't recall the name of it
In 2002 I started using Reason, and this one is the first composition using Reason
A little jazzy tune named Memory

Out of My Mind by Gerontius

Purple Heron by @unitedduality/

"Purple Heron" is the name and the story of my band that I had in the nineties.

LYRICS

I am sitting on my chair
And the sun is shining down.
All around me it is quiet.
Well, my wife has gone downtown.
I should brew a cuppa up,
Take my guitar and do some playing.
At least it’s something that
I’ll never have to regret.
Man, wouldn’t it be phat?
Gosh darn it! Where is my plec?

Second To Last by @unitedduality/

The second to last track of my upcoming album.

LYRICS

Now and then time can be
Such a silent thief.
Can we outrun it if we please?
The odds are stacked against us.

And sometimes time can be
Such a sneaky, nasty thief.
It says “run” while you have speed.
Pay no heed to what it says.

Sometimes there’ll be days when the sun won’t shine.
No need to search for it, or read between the lines.
Some days you must simply look inside.
Then you will see a light and come back
Starry eyed because you’ve found that
You’re full of love.

Whenever I think on
All these moments past,
I wish that I could make them last.
Chance would be a fine thing.

There is no need to rush,
Take all the colours in.
The light that shines from within
Will lead you through the dark.

Sometimes there’ll be days when the sun won’t shine.
No need to search for it, or read between the lines.
Some days you must simply look inside.
Then you will see a light and come back
Starry eyed because you’ve found that
You’re made of love.

Then you will see a light and come back
Starry eyed because you’ve found that
You’re here to love.

The Market Place / Mandingo by @indusrush

Taken from the album ‘From The East Down to The West’, The Market Place/Mandingo are two parts of an unfinished trilogy of songs about Iraq. The Market Place was inspired by Stephen’s experiences in Asia/The Middle East; the music and lyrics painting an atmospheric picture of the Souks and Bazaars and Stephen’s vocals bringing a melancholic longing to the piece. Despite the vast difference in environments and settings, The Market Place is fundamentally about how similar social interactions are across the world in coffee shops from Goa to Glasgow, but it’s Stephen’s time spent travelling that has helped him create his unique perspective on the world. Or to put it in short, Arty track inspired by an Arab soukh in Saudi, where I had the misfortune to work once....plus some techno inspired spanish guitar music played by Buddhist monks.

The Meaning of Life (food) by Davy Vance

A light hearted poke at those taking life too seriously!

LYRICS

Some believe in the power of love
Some believe in god above
Some believe in stories tall
Some believe in nothing at all

Some believe you must have rules
They don't believe in suffering fools
Some believe you must be good
But all the people everywhere believe in the power of food

We all want to know
Am I a saint or a sinner
But the real meaning of life is..
What's for dinner?

Some believe they've found a way
They won't hear what we say
I don't know,but I have a hunch
Survival's all about not being...
Somebody's lunch

We all want to know
Am I a saint or a sinner
But the real meaning of life is..
What's for dinner?
