The second world coin mint that I acquired in January was the 2020 Britannia, in fractional gold and silver coin versions.


For World Coin Wednesday, I will show the

2020 Great Britain 1 oz Silver Britannia BU

Features The Royal Mint's guilloché obverse design, .999 fs, 1 ozt

Obverse: Effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, along with the face value of 2 pounds.

Reverse: Features the internationally recognized figure of Britannia standing firm against a powerful gale. Her image has symbolized Britain’s strength and integrity on coinage since Roman times. A radial sunburst design behind Britannia adds anti-counterfeiting protection Sovereign coin backed by the British government.

And this is under natural light. I turned off the usual lights in my workroom because they just reflect so much on the trays I use as background. I think the blueish tint is coming from the plastic airtites. I am just glad that the details of the coin on both sides are cleared this time.
