Saturday Memories - SOME EXHIBITS FROM 2014

I had plenty of fun in 2014 ... I don't remember all the reasons, but I remember the life being outgoing and carefree, often accompanied by talking and joking, often with funny people around ... I felt like a character stuck inside some sitcom sometimes, and I liked that sensation a lot.

This is the post about one of my funniest evening of that year ...

... the opening of my exhibition in the place called Serbian Cultural Center in Istra ...

... that happened exactly on the 14 June 2014 in the city called Pula, the nearest city to my small, seaside hometown.

Hehehe I even found the video about the event made by people from the Serbian Cultural Center, on YouTube.

And I found the short promo too.

The photographs that are bringing to life this memory were not taken by me ... I'm just the regular appearance on them ...

... the photographs here were taken by various friends ...

... I don't know who caught which moment ...

... but I'm pretty sure that they all agree that I can do whatever I want with these images.

Some were taken with my camera that I let be used by whoever wants to use it, others were done with cell phones and sent to me through Facebook ... and now, I collected them all here.

This nice & cool cultural place was opened a few days earlier, this was the first exhibition and was kind of a relatively big thing in the small city.

Dogs were allowed and welcomed, of course.

Cats were also allowed, but cats had other stuff to do.

A friend, who works in the local newspaper took this shot before the opening, in the afternoon, for the paper ... it's a cool shot, and the artworks are very visible, so maybe it's the right time to say a few words about those ...

... I started to work on this series two years before, I was still working on it at the time of the exhibition, and I continued for a year or two after that.

This is a combination of hand drawing, painting and photography, all finally put together in Photoshop and printed in various sizes for this occasion. I already used some of these artworks in posts here on HIVE, some are hanging for sale in NFT Showroom, but I plan to present them one day all in a series of posts when I came up with some cool SF story or concept to accompany them.

Hehehe, here I'm enjoying the microphone ... I was already drunk enough to enjoy the moment, without a few glasses of wine it would have been too much presure.

I don't know what else tell you ... fortunately this is one of the last shots from the exhibition ...

... so I don't have to think about what to say and how to fill with words this segment of the memory ...

... after the exhibition thing, a bunch of us went for an after-party, in the house of a friend ...

... who has a cool old house at the edge of the city ... and there ... I mean, here ...

... a cat finally enters the story ...

This is Pepitza ... a very funny Norwegian Forest cat ...

... among other things ...

... Pepitzs likes to drink this way ... she also likes to drink tea from a little porcelain cup, I swear she does ... I saw her drinking tea.

... and the closing double - shot ... is time to end this memory ... this time the photographs and the video materials aren't my work ... but the artworks hanging on the wall in many of those shots, were in all segments made by me.
