Wine, My Excitement

Amidst the situation going,
I decided to go have a wine,
While I sat down there thinking,
About how life challenges have hit me so hard,
I poured myself a cup of wine,
Took it to my lip to have a taste of it.

The sweet tingling sensation of the wine on the tip of my tongue was so sweet,
That my body responded to it with vibration,
I thought drinking the wine would bring more pains to me but it brought sweetness to my body.

I could not count how many glasses I took,
But all I can remember was that the alcohol in the wine, Began to take over my sense of reasoning
I began to sway my body to the rhythm of an unknown music
My feet began to drum to the music
Because I had too much of the wine.

The wine has taken over me I thought,
I began to smile like, the sweet taste of the wine made me bolder,
I felt like I could conquer thousands against me,
Ideas began to pop into my head like notifications popping into a phone,
I felt on top of the world just because of the effect of the wine.
