Versos cotidianos; Esencia y Naturaleza / Daily verses; Essence and nature
Soy trino, soy canto, hermosura
Alegro la vida a otros seres vivientes,
Arco iris que vuela son mis plumas,
Para la mañana que nace soy presente
I am triune, I am song, I am beauty.
I cheer life to other living beings,
Rainbows that fly are my feathers,
For the morning that is born I am present
La naturaleza me dotó por siempre
De ese don de volar como el viento.
La libertad mi signo mi estandarte,
De Dios en la tierra soy portento
Nature endowed me forever
With the gift of flying like the wind.
Freedom my sign my banner,
Of God on earth I am a wonder
Soy quien no teme a la espesura
Del monte y sus peligros ingentes,
Soy quien en la ciudad y su bruma,
Doy signos de esperanza a la gente
I am the one who is not afraid of the thicket
Of the mountain and its enormous dangers,
I am the one in the city and its mist,
I give signs of hope to the people
Siento cada día la misión cumplida,
De llenar al mundo de alegría,
De ayuda a reencontrar la fe perdida,
De dar color al mundo que lo ansía
I feel every day the mission accomplished,
To fill the world with joy,
To help rediscover the lost faith,
To give color to the world that yearns for it
Así expresaba el ave canora,
Su emoción al ver el sol naciente,
Sentir la importancia que otorga,
La naturaleza a algunos seres
Thus expressed the songbird,
His emotion at the sight of the rising sun,
Feeling the importance that gives,
Nature gives to some beings
Pero el ave en elogios embelesada,
Obvió el peligro en la espesura,
Un felino que oculto la acechaba
Sin importar su canto y hermosura
But the bird in rapt praise,
It ignored the danger in the thicket,
A hidden feline that stalked it
Regardless of her song and beauty
Raudo y sigiloso aquel ataque,
Certero y sin ningún tipo de duda,
Jamás Previó aquel desastre
La bella ave de coloridas plumas
That attack was swift and stealthy,
Accurate and without any kind of doubt,
He never foresaw that disaster
The beautiful bird of colorful feathers
Así cada uno cumplió su destino,
Dando Una lección con triste final,
Uno practicando su asesino instinto,
El otro su canto y su vanidad
Thus each one fulfilled his destiny,
Giving a lesson with a sad end,
One practicing his murderous instinct,
The other his song and his vanity
