Cuando tomé el primer vuelo (Cúcuta-Bogotá) estaba tan nervioso, pues tenía muchisimo tiempo que no tomaba un avión, así que tomé unas revistas en el avión y comencé a leerlas para distraerme un poco. Y pasada una hora aproximadamente aterrizamos en el Aeropuerto El Dorado de Bogotá.

When I took the first flight (Cúcuta-Bogotá) I was so nervous, since I had not been on a plane for a long time, so I took some magazines on the plane and started reading them to distract myself a bit. And after about an hour we landed at the * El Dorado Airport in Bogotá *.

El Aeropuerto El Dorado es uno de los mejores de Latinoamérica y el mejor de Sudamérica y bien merecido tiene ese puesto. Es hermoso y muy moderno.

El Dorado Airport is one of the best in Latin America and the best in South America and it is well deserved. It is beautiful and very modern.

Tuve que pasar un cotrol de migraciones y por supuesto el chequeo de temperatura.

I had to pass a migration check and of course the temperature check.

Estuve buscando algo de comida y les confieso que me perdí en el aeropuerto, pues es muy grande. No encontraba la puerta de embarque hasta que pedí ayuda a un personal del aeropuerto que me guió.

I was looking for some food and I confess that I got lost at the airport, because it is very big. I couldn't find the gate until I asked for help from an airport staff who guided me.

Compré un croissant y un refresco para comer y luego esperé en la puerta de embarque a que llegara el avión.

I bought a croissant and a soft drink to eat and then waited at the gate for the plane to arrive.

Abordamos el avión a las 7pm Hora de Colombia. El vuelo fue muy tranquilo, dieron un refrigerio que casualmente fue también croissant y un jugo de naranja. Estaba muy nervioso y sobre todo triste por todo lo que estabas viviendo tan lejos de mis seres queridos, así que para entretenerme un poco, puse un capitulo de Chernobyl una serie que ya había visto y que está en mi top 3 de series favoritas.

We boarded the plane at 7pm Colombia time. The flight was very smooth, they had a snack that coincidentally was also croissant and orange juice. I was very nervous and above all sad about everything you were living so far from my loved ones, so to entertain myself a little, I put a chapter of * Chernobyl * a series that I had already seen and that is in my top 3 of favorite series.

Ver esta serie me ayudó un poco a relajarme ya que siempre he disfrutado de una buena serie o una buena pelicula.

Watching this series helped me a little to relax since I have always enjoyed a good series or a good movie.

Llegué a Lima el día 14/03/2020 a las 11 PM hora de Perú y el procedimiento de chequeos médicos estaba siendo muy exigente para poder ingresar al país. Recuerdo quedar de úlyimo en la fila de chequeos, además de esto, habían muchas personas de otros vuelos también, asñi que el proceso fue muy lento.

I arrived in Lima at 03/14/2020 at 11PM Peru time and the medical check-up procedure was being very demanding in order to enter the country. I remember being one of the last in the line of check-ups, in addition to this, there were many people from other flights as well, so the process was very slow.

Tenía un taxi reservado y lo perdí porque el proceso estaba siendo muy lento. Una señora que estaba cerca de mí en la fila, fue aislada porque tenía síntomas de COVID-19, yo estaba muy asustado y todos los otros pasajeros estaban escandalisados por esto.

I had a reserved taxi and I lost it because the process was being very slow. A lady who was close to me in line was isolated because I had symptoms of COVID-19, I was very scared and all the other passengers were shocked by this.

Estuve 2 horas en fila e ingresé oficialmente a Perú el día 15/03/2020 a la 1 AM ya que a esa hora me atendieron en migraciones Perú, chequearon mi pasaporte y me permitieron el ingreso al país.

I spent 2 hours in a row and officially entered Peru on 03/15/2020 at 1 AM since at that time they attended me on Peru migrations, they checked my passport and allowed me to enter the country.

Estaba nervioso porque mi maleta estuvo todo este tiempo sola y tenía miedo de no encontrarla. Afortunadamente la encontré y busqué otro taxi ya que habia perdido mi reservación. El taxista que me encontré me dijo que me cobraría 60 yo asumí que soles que es la moneda de Perú y me monté en el taxi. A mitad del recorrido, le pago los 60 Soles y me dice que no, que eran 60$.

I was nervous because my suitcase was alone all this time and I was afraid of not finding it. Fortunately I found it and looked for another taxi since I had lost my reservation. The taxi driver I met told me that he would charge me 60, I assumed that soles cause' that's the currency of Peru and I got into the taxi. Halfway through the tour, I pay him 60 Soles and he says no, it was $60.

Prácticamente entrando a Perú y ya me estaban estafando. Le dijeal taxista que yo no tenía esa cantidad de dinero, que tomara los 60 Soles y listo. Él estaba muy molesto y yo lo estaba aún más. No tuvo más opción que llevarme al sitio donde me encontraría con mi primo, con quien vivo actualmente.

Practically entering Peru and they were already cheating me. I told the taxi driver that I did not have that amount of money, to take the 60 Soles and that's it. He was very upset and I was even more so. He had no choice but to take me to the place where I would meet my cousin, with whom I currently live.

Y esa es la historia de cómo llegué al país en el que actualmente resido, ese mismo día que llegué el Presidente de Perú dio declaraciones en las que a partir del 16/03/2020 debíamos estar en cuarentena absoluta. Tuve que acatar esto durante 3 meses aproximadamente,. Actualmente no es obligatoria la cuarentena, pero el país se mantiene en estado de emergencia

And that is the story of how I arrived in the country in which I currently reside, that same day that I arrived, the President of Peru gave statements in which as of 03/16/2020 we should be in absolute quarantine. I had to abide by this for approximately 3 months. Quarantine is not currently mandatory, but the country remains in a state of emergency.
