In this blog post; I'll be discussing some of the high-level pointers like::-

    • SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR card level discussion, stats and how I am stack with SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR
    • Gameplay & Strategy discussed in detailed
    • Battle Results & How Often I use SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR
    • A Final Note to keep things simple;

Let's start with the card level discussion. I'm a bit lucky here as you can see that I have got this Monster card leveled-up to 8

And let me admit that I do have the Gold Foil card of this Earth Element Monster as well. And the fact is that to date I did not play with the SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR Gold foil card and as a matter of fact, I've not leveled-up the Gold Card as well and can be seen in the following picture.

Looking at the stats of this Shield Monster SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR at level 8 you would need around 172 cards to be combined to reach level 8. I'm pretty much satisfied with this level coz. at 9 and 10 levels you just get extra health.

image.png

Yes, I'm coming to the main point the -"Reach" ability. In case you are not aware of the "Reach"* ability powers then let me tell you that monster which has "Reach" ability are able to attack from the second position on the team. So I would say that it's a dual benefit giving the player to attack its opponents from the second position and doing the real damage. Assuming you have this monster card at level 8 then you get on to do extra damage of 3 Melee attack and incase if you did choose the summoner as - "MALRIC INFERNO" then the damage becomes 4 Melee attack.

Enough of stats and card level discussion; let's move on the Strategy Part & the real battle played with Shield Monster SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR at level 8.

It was a 42 MANA CAP Battle. With two Rules Non-flying monsters take 2 Melee damage and Legendary monsters cannot be used in the Battle.

Here is my line-up:-

Game Plan & Strategy Discussion::

I wanted to leverage the Shield Monster SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR REACH ability for sure and that is the reason I had placed this Shield Warrior at second position.

image.png

SILVERSHIELD KNIGHT inspired all my Melee Monster with +1 Melee attack and hence now I could do damage of 4 Melee attack by my SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR. This really came in handy coz. the heavy lifting of damage was done by this Shield monster.

Divine Healer was picked up to slow down the speed of the enemy monsters and heal my front-line monster SILVERSHIELD PALADIN AND Finally the real Beast monster SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN was picked. Can you guess WHY?

image.png

Ok, let me tell you the reason of picking SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN. If you guessed if coz. of the double strike then you are right. So basically it was 6 Melee damage that I got as I had SILVERSHIELD KNIGHT and it had inspired all my Melee attack monster. And how can I forget the poison ability of SILVERSHIELD ASSASSIN which was a huge PLUS in the battle feild.

The Battle Results Were Very Clear form the Start of the Battle:: A Clear WINNER

Let me be very frank, I've been using the Shield Monster SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR most of the time and this is mainly because of its REACH ability. I did mention that I have the Gold Foil version of this card as well but have not been using it coz. it's at a low level that gives a less Melee damage attack.

A-Pro TIP to new players if you haven't explored this Shield Monster SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR then just go ahead and try it out by placing it in the second position. By buying just one card you get to explore the REACH ability. Currently One card cost around $0.017 having just one card allows you explore the Reach ability and in case you like it then its best to level-up the card where you feel comfortable. For me the comfortable position was level 8 and hence I've this Shield Monster SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR @ LEVEL 8

A Final Note to keep things simple; Tell me in One Word Should I include SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR in my card collection?

The Simple answer is a BIG YES & as stated with just a mere $0.017 you get to explore the Reach ability. And according to me having a monster card that has Reach ability gives you a dual advantage in the battlefield. So, if you are a player who intends to take advantage of the card's ability then go ahead with buying an building this SILVERSHIELD WARRIOR card without any FEAR...

Nice use of Silvershield warrior you have it in a nice level, Silvershield monsters are really difficult to defeat and you use it many of them on this battle.
