Sharing my battles with the Blast ability | Splinterlands Challenge

(Edited)

Every splinterland player has a preference for a particular splinter, and this is because we come to feel a predilection for the abilities that a particular card has when it is in the arena of combat. This, too, has happened to me.

In my early days in the game, when the game was still steemmonsters, I loved to play with the splinter of death, because I loved the heal ability of one of its cards. Later, I discovered that same ability on a water-splinter card, I now had two favorite splinters. However, one day the reward of my quests brought me a really great card: RULER OF THE SEAS. This card became my favorite, until today, its almost invincible behavior in the combat arena made me love it.

But what makes RULER OF THE SEAS so special?

The answer is here:

Monsters with the Blast ability do additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster.

This means, that these monsters are capable of inflicting damage to several monsters at the same time in a single attack.

To understand it better, let's look at the next battle:

BATTLE

If you observe the battle in detail, you will notice that in each attack of the RULER OF THE SEAS monster, the next monster to the target monster received the Blast effect and was defeated.

The success of this battle was given exclusively thanks to that monster.

My opponent had a water summoner of higher level than mine, part of his team of monsters are of good level.

Even in the selection of my team, there is a mistake... can you see it?
One of the rules of the battle was the elimination of the ability to heal health, I shouldn't have used the second monster.
Now, you see?

And yet, RULER OF THE SEAS with only a level 1, managed to win.

Now let's see another battle

BATTLE

In this battle, unlike the last one, my great hero RULER OF THE SEAS is defeated. However, I think his performance was decisive in ensuring victory. In each attack he made on the first monster, he also wounded the second monster, managing to defeat him and thus preventing him from keeping his old friend (LORD ARIANTHUS) alive.

The superior level of my opponent's summoner coupled with the abilities of his monsters made me think at first glance that I would be defeated, but fortunately that did not happen. I won.

There are many monsters with the ability to Blast. I have some of them, I'll show you below:

* Splinters: Fire
* Rarity: Common
* Card Name: EXPLODING DWARF
* Mana Cost: 5

* Splinters: Fire
* Rarity: Epic
* Card Name: PYROMANCER
* Mana Cost: 6

* Splinters: Water
* Rarity: Rare
* Card Name: PIRATE ARCHER
* Mana Cost: 2

* Splinters: Neutral Monster
* Rarity: Rare
* Card Name: GREMLIN BLASTER
* Mana Cost: 3

And of course I couldn't miss my favorite monster:

* Splinters: Water
* Rarity: Legendary
* Card Name: RULER OF THE SEAS
* Mana Cost: 6

In the future I wish I could increase their level, at least to level 2.

Well that's it for now, we're still in the battle...
