Mighty Gloridax Soldier in Action - Splinterlands Tips, Tricks, and Tactics #58
Welcome to the newest video of the Splinterlands tips, tricks, and tactics! The best battles are those where you think that you don't have a chance to win, but still, you do your homework and try to win despite all odds... In this game I had to play with Dragon-Life Splinter, so I had to use cards that I have in my inventory, and I don't have too many white deck cards...
Luckily, my opponent had the same problem and even worse cards than me, but the point of this video isn't to bully weaker opponents but to point out one great card, Gloridax Soldier... It doesn't look like something special, but it has some crucial things... The first one is the Shield ability which reduces damage from Melee and Ranged attackers... The second one is that it is a flying monster, so the probability that your opponent misses it is much higher... And the third thing, that doesn't look like an important one, is that it has 1 armor! Ok, you would say, what's that great about that?? You will have to check out the video and see why is that so important...

Thank you for this demonstration. I like the combination with the Armorsmith. I have a Gloridax Soldier, but don't play my Dragon Splinter much. I have seen the Armorsmith in action before and liked it, but have not gotten any, yet. I guess I need to reallocate some of my DEC and add one to my collection (maybe level 2 or 3).
It's not a financial advice, but I would suggest you to invest in common and rare cards... They are cheaper, but you will use them a lot more than some expensive legendary card... I have many legendary cards, but I mostly use maybe 2-3 max... Lord Arianthus is one of my most important cards..

That is what I do. I only have one legendary card (Scarred Llama Mage) and I got that one from a pack. However, when you are in Bronze level, your DEC doesn't accumulate very quickly, so I have to watch the cards until I find one I like enough to use frequently before I invest in any. I had made a note to look deeper into Armorsmith before, but just hadn't pulled the trigger, yet...well I did today. I bought 5 and combined them into a level 3. Now I just need to upgrade my Devine Healer (have to wait until I earn more DEC).

Thank you. My daily quest today was with Life Quest and I got to use him a lot. I really like combining him with Devine Healer, Shieldbearer, and Silvershield Sherrif. With Shieldbearer protecting my back row cards and Silvershield Sherrif picking off theirs while Armorsmith and Devine Healer keep Shieldbearer alive, I get decent results in the Bronze league.
