My First Champions I League Appearance - Champions, Be Ready to Battle With Me :)
Hello Friends,
We are nearing the Splinterlands current season to end in about One and half day and I am already having party as I just reached Champions I League for the first time!!!!!!
The ranking was moving up and down today many times as I was determined to reach the summit league and wins and losses were there as I was battling with best players, but finally, I made it there!!
It's a nice feeling to be in the best league of Splinterlands among the best players.
Here is the moment of me becoming a Champions I player captured with below screenshot ;)
Splinterlands is becoming more and more popular with each day by conducting contests on Twitter and Telegram, by adding new cards very often and also by supporting the blogs written by Splinterlands players thru their high stake HIVE Power.
I have said this in an earlier blog as well that, introduction of new rewards cards has given opportunity to many players who are playing in lower leagues to lineup a better deck and move on to next level as the new reward cards are good enough to be compared to some of the best Beta and Untamed version cards.
Some of the new Rewards cards comparable are: Bila The Radiant, Kretch Tallevor, Silvershield Sheriff, Captain's Ghost, Grim Reaper and Phantasm.
I personally like Grim Reaper for it's nice melee attack and affliction ability.
Kretch Tallevor is a summoner and with just 3 MANA requirement, it is gonna be a good thing for people haven't acquired or leveled up Dragon Splinter as it's low MANA and good enough stats helps to play with Dragon Splinter.
Captain's Ghost is another one with affliction ability and being a magic monster, it will be a nice addition to ever good magic monsters like Ruler of the Seas, Sea Genie, Prismatic Energy, Medusa and all.
I am eagerly waiting for the season to end and see what I got in those 30 extra chests as I now reached Champions I league and will be getting 150 chests!!!!!

Well done. I've made it to Champion in the last couple of seasons. I am amazed that people with level 1 cards can get up there. I do meet a lot of bot accounts though. I want to compete against people. Let's see what I win this time.

Coming back to Splinterlands, yes, the new rewards cards and some of the Untamed ones at level One, are with nice attack and abilities and reaching Champions III is not that difficult with those. But, from there, to reach Champions II and I will be a bit difficult since those leagues will have some of the best players and competing against them will be difficult.
I had been making it to Champions II for last 7 or 8 leagues, but Champions I is for the first time.
Bot accounts are a lot of nuisance, but no other option right now.

I doubt I'll get to Champion II this time. The win rate tends to go down as I meet more big hitters. I may need to buy more cards. I'll keep playing anyway.
I agree with you about win rate going down and especially at the fag end of the season, more and more players will be playing more games in quest of reaching next higher level. But I still think you can make it barring few losses here and there.
