During our vacations of Koh Samui Island in Thailand we stayed at a few different resorts and visited many beaches along the coast line of The Gulf of Thailand seeing many beautiful sunrises and sunsets but on this particular night it was full moon , we found ourselves on small resort by the Nathon beach enjoying some chilled out music and trying some new Bacardi Breezers , it could not have been a more perfect night as we were looking out to ocean and sky we see the full moon marking a appearance through a small window opening from behind these cotton clouds and lighting up the surrounding cotton clouds sending a beautiful reflection across the ocean bed as if it was sunrise who thought that moonlight clouds , could look so pretty and , i thought clouds slept at nights till this moonlight proved me wrong what a stunning evening it was great atmosphere beautiful lit up sky with the full moon and lovely clouds looking down on us.
The skies were always so beautiful on this tropical island it didn't matter what time of the day or night it was , i never took so much liking to clouds till , i saw the real beauty of clouds on this tropical island now , i am more fixed on clouds then ever.

Thank you @jlufer moonlight clouds are really amazing and never really seen in the big cities this was the first for me and only because we were on a beautiful tropical island and seeing these beautiful moonlight clouds that night made me feel more energized for some reason it was like love in the sky.
Funny how it takes the right atmosphere to make you wanna look up at the clouds. Here in Suriname near the sea it's very often cloudy, but it's more of gray blanket in the sky. Add the muddy ocean to that and there is a good reason many more people visit Koh Samui than Paramaribo.
I've heard a lot of good things about the area.
That is true the tropical conditions do funny things to people makes them more relaxed and romantic in my opinion.
Do hope you can get out of Suriname soon apart from getting all your free fruits and veggies it doesn't sound like anything more special about Suriname it obviously sounds like you guys don't belong there.
Ethiopia looks like our best bet at the moment. Good food, cheap cost of living, and Addis Ababa is nice and chilly at night.
It would be a good move many always think of Ethiopia as a poor staving place but it is a awesome place in what i have heard about it. Great landscapes there also that's why it would be more chilly at nights.
