UNDER THE LONG TRAIL IN THE SKY

There is a bit more traffic than usual up in the air, in the big blue of the summer sky. The tourist season is much better than expected, I mean, more than I expected, I don't know what was expected by others, and more airplanes have something to do again ...

... so those long white trails, those man - made kind of clouds, can be seen more often ...

... and sometimes they even intersect each other, creating Xes and stuff.

Yesterday I was walking with some friends, along the path bordered with tall grass, and I realized that the long white line in the sky could be an interesting element able to enhance a very ordinary, potentially boring perspective shot.

The weather was nice, hot - but in a good way, most of the sky was covered with elusive patterns made of sparse white clouds on the blue surface, only this long white trail ...

... with a shorter one intersecting it above the northern part of the meadows, really stood out ...

... so I took a few shots that wouldn't be taken otherwise. The inspiration came from the sky ...

... and ended up including a bit of ground too ...

... and that's all, the sky is still there, but it looks completely different now. It's a gray, cloudy day, maybe some rain will fall in the afternoon. As always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work.
