Finally, I have time to be creative. In general, it seemed to me that this picture would be easy for me, but it was not there.

Probably all due to the fact that I have been drawing little lately, this affects. I used to draw a little but almost every day. Now I paint once a week, roughly. I will not make excuses that there is no time or something else. Most likely this is laziness.

I love summer, summer days are much longer, I like to paint in daylight. In winter it gets dark early, at 16:00 it already starts to get dark, and at 17:00 it is already dark, and in summer night comes at about 21:00. This is much better. In the summer, I manage to paint in daylight. but not in winter. The cloudy weather makes you sleepy all day.

The first stage is underpainting. I almost always start with underpainting.

Underpainting is almost like a sketch, just not a pencil, but a sketch with paints. I always do a pencil sketch too. It's more convenient for me to write underpainting later and, as a result, paint a picture with acrylic paint.

Probably if I painted pictures with oil paint, I would refuse underpainting. Because it is a layer of paint that takes a long time to dry. There are no such problems with acrylic; one layer of acrylic paint dries for about 30 minutes. The oily layer of paint dries for several days, sometimes weeks.

As the underpainting is dry, you can paint the picture in real colors. For example, I paint leaves, for this painting I need green and white. For the leaves, I chose different shades of green.

For the background, I used pink paint + whitewash. The result is a gently rosy background.
