Insects Smaller Than Corona

I made a post yesterday about my greenhouse. This morning I went to check on things and I saw these tiny patterns on the plastic bags.

I would not even have even noticed them if I had not been looking at the sick plants with a magnifying glass.

You see, when a carnivorous plant is looking unhealthy, I put them in a ziplock with fresh air being pumped into it. If the problem is gnats, then they usually get eaten by the plants and are soon gone. The closed environment is not conducive to reproduction. I know what gnats look like and how their larva look like. What I found today is smaller than a corona-virus.

When I saw the patterns, I thought maybe the plants had brushed up on the plastic bag or something. To see if I was right, I did a little science. Surveillance!

I set a camera up and zoomed in on the area where the patterns appeared. I did not see any movement inside the bag but there had to be something there.

When I saw the time lapse, I could not believe what I saw. I did not think there could be any insects, or whatever they are, that small. These things could go right through the cloth mask that I wear every day. If anyone knows what these are, please make a comment and tell me.

Here's the time-lapse

Remember, the movement you see took place over ten minutes or so, and they appear to be flying as well as drawing patterns in the mist. What are these little buggers?

As far as the plants go, I will have to take the bag outside and re-pot them using fresh peat moss. They do not do well when their roots are disturbed. I lost over sixty plants when I moved them all to indoors - all got new pots and most died.

I have a restaurant review coming soon. So it won't all be about plants.
