A Comic Book Pickup

More speculation, but more of a pick-up simply because I love the comic book cover's artist and I love the Boom! Studios The Last Witch story of far.

This is the 1:25 virgin ratio created by Peach Momoko; as some of you who may follow me know, I love Momoko's work and spent a lot of 2020 tracking down her work for the Hattie Collection. This one is definitely going in that collection.

The story is pretty good so far too; the young girl who possesses special abilities passed through the bloodline from her deceased mother, beginning an epic confrontation with a nasty being that lives in the wood...I'm only through two issues, and the story is well written and the plot well defined. I'm probably wrong like I am about most things in life, but I can see this story being picked up for some streaming type content in the future. So...if that happens, the scarcity of the book could hold some long-term value. I know, I know...it's not Leofinance worthy, but it's something, right?

As for the price I paid for this one, I got very lucky on eBay. I had been targeting something in the ratio range for Hattie's collection, but somehow was able to buy this one for $14 USD all in. I'll take it; sometimes you do find a deal on eBay from time to time.

There is also a sketch virgin of this Momoko available online at this time too; I might pick that one up as well once print runs for Last Witch circulate.
