The Art Journal is a visual diary or a creative journal in which we can experiment with different techniques to express feelings, emotions and creativity. We can use any kind of material, such as paper, paints and so on. I wanted to use mostly paper, so I make use of all the old magazines and newspapers I have at home.

El Art Journal es un diario visual o un diario creativo en el podemos experimentar con diferentes técnicas para expresar sentimientos, emociones y creatividad. Podemos usar cualquier tipo de material, como papel, pinturas y demás. Yo quise usar mas que todo papel, así le doy uso a todas las revistas y periódicos viejos que tengo en casa.

The first thing I do to make a page in my Art Journal, is to look for a phrase that I liked a lot or just based on a specific topic, and then go to develop everything. Where I make my art journal, it is a notebook or artistic notebook that I made myself, with cardboard paper.

Lo primero que hago para realizar una pagina en mi Art Journal, es buscar alguna frase que me haya gustado mucho o simplemente basarme en algún tema en especifico, para luego irme a desarrollar todo. Donde hago mi art journal, es un cuaderno o libreta artística que hice yo mismo, con papel cartulina.

I like to go on Facebook from time to time, to come across pictures of motivational or reflective writings or phrases. I feel that they help me to make any art journal, it's as if I get inspired just by seeing or reading a phrase. And that's what happened with this art journal, I saw a phrase on Facebook and I liked it a lot, so I decided to do something related to that phrase.

Me gusta entrar a Facebook de vez en cuando, para toparme con fotos de escritos o frases motivadores o reflexivas. Siento que me ayudan a hacer cualquier art journal, es como si me llegara la inspiración al solo ver o leer una frase. Y es lo que paso con este art journal, vi una frase en Facebook y me gusto mucho, así que decidí hacer algo referente a esa frase.

The phrase basically talks about self-love and yes, I know I already did an art journal about it, but I couldn't get past the perception of this phrase, I'm very partisan about these topics, so I had to do something with it. The sentence says the following:

"If you have the capacity to love, love yourself."

La frase básicamente habla sobre el amor propio y si, se que ya hice un art journal sobre eso, pero no pude pasar de percibida esta frase, soy muy partidario sobre estos temas, así que tenia que hacer algo con ella. La frase dice lo siguiente:

"Si tienes la capacidad de amar, amatate a ti mismo."

Undoubtedly, it is a phrase that just by reading it, tells you a truth. I know that sometimes it is difficult to love ourselves 100%, but it is really what we should do, love ourselves first, because if we do not love ourselves, no one will.

Sin duda, es una frase que con tal solo leerla, te dice una verdad. Se que a veces es difícil querernos al 100%, pero realmente es lo que debemos hacer, amarnos a nosotros mismos primeramente, porque si no nos amamos a nosotros mismos, nadie lo va a hacer.

So guys, if you have any acceptance issues or don't love yourself at all, go for it, it's beautiful to look in the mirror and feel good about yourself and never hesitate to seek help from someone else.

Así que chicos, si tienen algún problema de aceptación o no se aman del todo, háganlo, es hermoso vernos al espejo y sentirnos bien con con nosotros mismo y nunca dudes en buscar ayuda con alguien mas.
